International Anti-Corruption Day 2023
    The very corrupt Joe Biden
So today is International Anti-Corruption Day in the presence of our very corrupt democrat administration who should have never EVER been allowed to occupy the executive branch of United States government.

Today we are supposed to speak out and fight against corruption in our lives.

This day was declared by the audacity of the United Nations, a corrupt organization out for genocide and calling it "sustainability".

Like Bill Gates, they too should be put in a place where they can do no harm to the collective world as they seek to do.

Then there is Joe Biden, the single most corrupt chief executive to ever live. He has monitized those offices held by selling influence to our enemies. Where is the justice? Where is the retribution for such an outrageous tyranical traitor.

The so-called "central bank" seeking control of personal taxpayer funds on the whim of some dirtbag politician. Please, have you democrats no shame?

What do the democrats have to say for their corrupt selves ?

Nothing.

I keep hoping that accountability will be the order of the day and Bill Gates, the United Nations, The World Economic Forum, and the likes of Klaus Schwab, and all those other insects they would have us eat are put where they belong.

Boo Democrats.
Boo Bill Gates you murderous turd out to poison the world food supply.
Boo Klaus Schwab who will NEVER rule the world as you wish and finally,
Boo United Nations the globalist corruption incarnate.

National Blue Collar Day 2023
Blue Collar

In the beginning I was a blue collar man. After years my life became null and void and I failed to see any purpose in my existence. For I pursued a career avenue for which I had insufficient will and drive. So I abandoned this existence for something I already knew ... computer hardware, software, and media. I immersed myself in troubleshooting, repair, and programming in several languages.

What started as mostly a hobby became my career all of a sudden. The beauty of it all was the training I received from world class practitioners which I soaked up like a sponge. The right employment can always improve your skillset. Early on I branched out into teaching college — not because I enjoyed it, but for the $5,000 post tax take on it all.

Life was okay up to a point when I became unable to pursue those avenues I chose and became thrust into the very inferior microsoft technologies because everyone for whom I worked was stupid just like them.

So I retired.

Today is National Blue Collar Day. It is observed annually on December the 8th in an effort to recognize blue collar workers everywhere. Though the bulk of my career was not physical labor I did indeed work with my hands and engaged by brain via a keyboard.

Though white collar was my existence I always remained a blue collar man.

Happy National Blue Collar Day and don't let the stupid bastards hold you down.

Pearl Harbor Day 2023
Pearl Harbor Day

Today we remember the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. Given some of my very best friends have been and are from Japan I wax rather introspective at this time in light of the fact that war is war and the rules of war lean on the definite violent side ...

Characterized as "a day of infamy" Japan attacked us at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. On the December 7 of 1941 we lost in excess of 2400 people and innumerable hardware assets of our Pacific fleet were destroyed. The cost in service men and women who were killed or injured is the true tragedy of it all.
    Daddy
So we entered World War II and proceeded to kick ass. Too bad the Biden administration has ruined the military. We would not be so formidable at this time because of his stupid woke spin on everything his crook ass becomes involved in.

This sad day was appropriately the day chosen as that to inter my late father, MMCM Jim Williamson, Jr at Clinton United Methodist Church in Salley, SC in the year 2001. Rest in peace, Daddy.

Put on your own shoes day 2023
    Allen Edmonds Strandmok
This is an obscure observance and entails imagination to decide just what it means and where you go with it.

It could be a day for the fashionista to get all doodied up and strut her stuff.

It might be a learning moment for some youngster to engage in shoe tying.

It is up to you.

Me, I'm no longer that fashion conscious person I was in the mid 1980s so I don't really view the day as any sort of opportunity. Gone are the days of silk coats, yellow trousers, leather suspenders, and the latest in shirts, coats, and footwear.

I no longer dwell anal retentively on ties as I once did. So however you view fashion and with whatever you decide to imbue the day it's purely your choice and I hope you'll have a good day regardless.

Happy Put on your own shoes day.

National Blue Jeans Day 2023
blue jeans
When I was younger I wore blue jeans a lot.

Some time between the Navy and now I lost that affinity for these durable pantaloons and surely I will regain the need for their addition to my wardrobe ...

I mean, seeing how I never had anything against them except for some of the ridiculous pricing schemes.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I felt $60 bucks for a pair of blue jeans to be quite a bit more than excessive.

Today is National Blue Jeans Day.

It is observed on December 5th annually.

Jeans are said to be essential to Western fashion and that "every American is estimated to own seven pairs of them".

Seeing how I presently don't have any someone must be sporting 14 pairs !

I always liked what I perceived to be heavy duty construction. Those copper rivets of the Levis products attracted me in particular.

Jeans may be mainstream and unisex.

I just don't own a pair presently. I don't have anything against them. Having just retired from the technical support of an incorporated municipality a certain appearance was expected and unfortunately jeans did not fit that bill.

Happy National Blue Jeans Day anyway.

International Cheetah Day 2023
    Cheetah
Big cats intrigue me. I think it has something to do with my general contempt for kitties otherwise. Something about an animal sprinting at 70 mph is quite appealing to me personally. This is something the Cheetah can do.

The Cheetah is the most endangered of the big cats. I don't take this notion lightly in the presence of all the encroachment mankind has imposed on the rest of the world.

Today is a day reserved for the honor and preservation of Cheetahs and is known as International Cheetah Day.

Farmers local to their native habitats pose a threat to their existence because they are viewed as predators and as such are to be wiped from the face of the earth.

Of course, the circle of life and natural selection has nothing to do with the fate that befalls a cat killed because it chose to dine on the local livestock.

International Cheetah Day has been observed each December 4 in an attempt to raise awareness about the threat of extinction that the Cheetah faces daily. They have experienced a decline of about half their population in recent history.

We really should be more effective stewards of the wildlife which shares this planet with us.

Happy International Cheetah Day.

National Dorothy Day 2023
Dorothy Gale portrayed by Judy Garland
I haven't known a lot of people named Dorothy in my existence.

My favorite thought of the name turns to The Wizard of Oz and Dorothy Gale, the protagonist who travels to Oz to find the Munchkins, Glenda, the Good Witch of the East, the Wicked Witch of the West, and of course the denizens of the Emerald City and the great and powerful Oz himself.

When she finally has that epiphany of there's no place like home she returns to her family ...

National Dorothy Day goes down annually on December 3rd. It is said to be the official appreciation day for every Dorothy the planet.

The name Dorothy means “gift of God” and pretty much that stands alone in my mind.

I wish I thought myself to be a 'gift of God' for sure.

While I won't go quite that far the name Dorothy does hold a special place in my heart as I continue down the yellow brick road.

I had an aunt by marriage named Dorothy however she made the mistake of hooking up with an uncle of mine who was nothing but trouble.

There are better outcomes than that which his poor children suffered throughout his lifetime and I have been known to grieve for the lot in life they suffered at the behest of his selfish attitudes.

Happy National Dorthy Day to you.

I'm with Elon Musk
    Elon Musk
In an interview at the New York Times’ DealBook Summit, Elon Musk suggested advertisers fleeing X were blackmailing him and could kill the platform.

Now the last thing I want in my life is some woke ass moron's company thinking that they have ANYTHING to offer me.

They don't.

I am not a subsriber to X, but this is a holdover from the evil Jack Dorsey years and certainly has no reflection on Mr Musk at all.

I have never been antisemetic in my life. I do not wish ill on the Palestinians.

However, I could give a rip about Gaza, Hamas, Palestine, and any other dumb ass who think they will criticize or hold my crucifix against me unchallenged.

Supporters of those who seek to cancel advertising on X should heed Mr Musk's advice:

Don’t advertise. If someone is going to try and blackmail me with advertising? Blackmail me with money?

Go fuck yourself. Go fuck yourself. Is that clear?

Hey Bob, if you’re in the audience. That’s how I feel, don’t advertise.

Elon Musk
New York Times DealBook Summit
Mr Musk addressed the fact that lost advertising revenues may signal the end of the X platform. He gave a personal shout out to Bob Iger the idiot in charge of Disney. Then, the interviewer tried to blame the ad situation on Mr Musk who told him to try to tell that lie to the world. BRAVO !

I don't need Disney.
I don't need Apple.
I CERTAINLY don't need IBM * Loser * ...
I don't need Oracle.
I don't need Lionsgate.
I don't need the New York or Los Angeles Times
I don't need Target
I don't need ANY woke corporation's people or products.

Like the man said,

GO FUCK YOURSELF.

I don't think damage control is in order either by the namby pamby puss of a woke CEO placed in charge of the X organization. What a female of the species crybaby. Perhaps it's some personally essential political schtick.

National Christmas Lights Day 2023
Christmas lights
The excitement builds for me personally as Christmas approaches. Here we are at December first ...

National Christmas Lights Day 2023

Some of the fondest of my childhood memories revolve around the decorations my parents placed in honor of the season.

It is said that electric Christmas lights were first invented in 1880 by Thomas Edison. Over the years I have learned to take statements of inventions attributed to Edison with a grain of salt given the massive credit he claimed for the work of others during his career.
Regardless, Christmas lights remain an essential part of those decorations which make our spirits bright in the joyous season.

I marked the day by erecting my mothers fiber optic Christmas tree at which we have gazed when we can.

Now if only we could scrape up a few feet of snow !

Happy National Christmas Lights Day to you !

National Computer Security Day 2023
matrix lock
I recall a time when people would try to hack my web server right in front of me. Soon after that first few times of whining to the uplink provider I became one with the firewall and countermeasures and now I don't have much of a problem in that regard.

It's amazing to watch 6 simultaneous hackers find they're firewalled one right after the other in less than a minute or so. Such is the nature of exploits anymore. You have to be as bad ass as they think they are. Necessity turned me into a cyber grizzly towards hackers, spammers, crackers, and such ... even though my start in life was cracking code in real time.

It's National Computer Security Day time to consider cyber security and it's possible impacts upon your work and property. The exploits remain out there and the perps are ready to take your ransomware booty to some offshore anonymous account never to be seen by you again.

Breaches in computer security happen every day anymore. Of late a hospital chain was hit with ransomware and they brought the whole operation down. The portends can be devasting for any operation involving the health of people and this particular impact was pretty bad ...

Both for those patients affected by cancellation of services and the reputation of the hospital system victim which wasn't proactive enough to suit me personally.

My assets are never directly accessible over ANY network I don't fully control.

You should attempt to be proactive in protecting your cyber assets in this day and age. There are available mechanisms which can make your stuff inaccessible to the cockroaches who would have their way with you.

Implementing countermeasures will go a long way to ensuring you and yours do not fall victim to the riff raff in cyberspace out to get you.

Happy National Computer Security Day and don't let them see you sweat while they try to have at you.

Choose Women Wednesday 2023
Della Street portrayed by Barbara Hale

Today is Choose Women Wednesday.

It is observed the first Wednesday after thanksgiving as a vehicle utilized to appreciate, support, listen to and stand up for women.

It has been said that behind every good man there is a good woman.

Of late the feminists are trying to act as though they can exist in the total absence of men.

Be all of this as it may, I know of many instances where the synergy of men and women working together has been beneficial to the world in general.

I try to never casually dismiss anyone because of their gender ...

Unless it is that fallacy called trangender.

Choose Women. I always do at every opportunity.

Not some roll and tuck fake wannabe.

Jeffrey Dahmer died in 1994
Jeffrey Dahmer mugshot
The story of a monster living among us ended on this day in 1994.

Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer who was born May 21, 1960 and given life without the possibility of parole was brutally killed with a mop handle by another inmate named Christopher Scarver who was serving time with him at the Columbia Correctional Institution in Portage, Wisconsin.

His murder was ruled homicide by bludgeoning with severe skull and brain trauma.

Thusly, serial killer, sex offender, necrophiliac, and cannibal who evaded capture for years was put down by another incarcerated inmate who had both murdered and robbed others.

Mr Dahmer had been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, and schizotypal personality disorder as well as a psychotic disorder yet he was found to be legally sane at his trial.

How positively convenient.

Go figure.

The moral of this tragic tale concerns reaping what you sow and just because you accept your fate there is no guarantee that your cohorts in prison will accept you.

Yet another sad story of wasted youth by a sick bird.

Cyber Monday 2023
    Cyber Monday
Kicking the holiday season squarely in the ass we have Cyber Monday.

A marketing cohort of Black Friday since 2005 the day is for online deals in a similar vein ...

Ideally, it saves you the trip to some brick and mortar establishment in favor of the convenience of ordering online.

The day is the brainchild of one Ellen Davis, who was the president of the National Retail Foundation.

Cyber Monday has grown into a formidable tour de force in retail endeavors. I have been known to particpate periodically despite the general increase in payment card fraud so prevalent in the democrat criminal world in which we live ...

Who knows, you may find that perfect something somewhere for an excellent price. You may get ripped off by some unauthorized user of your stolen payment card as well.

Happy Cyber Monday to you !

National Cake Day 2023
Black Forest Cake

Today is National Cake Day. It is a day for the recognition of cake as a dessert or celebratory food item. Many cakes are simply delicious. Others are to be endured.

Personally I am a big fan of the German Chocolate, Devil's Food, Cheese, and Carrot varieties. Most any variation suits me just fine. There were a few vegan cakes that didn't float my boat.

Ice cream goes well with cake as a very popular dish. Birthdays ususally feature cakes with lit candles atop counting those years one has inhabited the planet.

So whatever your 'druthers' cake can likely fit the bill for anything you may have going on.

Happy National Cake Day !
