While my personal preferences take precedence here I would qualify my opinion by stating that I do not hold anyone's sexuality against them and I am friends with others of various sexual proclivities and persuasions. As long as people keep their private lives or controversial opinions to themselves I have no issues with anyone ever.
The 'hitting up on' others at work has never been anything I thought to be an interesting or fruitful endeavor. When you come to work there is a need for barriers because you're there to work and not to socialize or pursue sex partners or otherwise cavort in your carnal inclinations.

So while I don't believe in gay, transexual, or any other identity political rights of that nature I do believe in human rights. While I don't believe you should hook up with a person of your own genome nor do I believe that you can 'fake' a sexual identity via your phenome ... I absolutely do believe we should not impinge on those who wish to be left alone.
The fact that I think you are a sick bird is neither here nor there in this context.
