I used to be terrorized in the presence of any snake. While the years have tempered this over reaction I still need to see them first when possible.
Today is World Snake Day. It is observed each July 16 annually in an effort to increase awareness regarding the over 3,500 snake species that exist internationally.
So whether it is a venomous or nonvenomous species, I try to respect the animals and allow them to exist in their habitat. After all, we should not encroach on their place and kill them just for being there.
In my old age I become tolerant of the various species sharing the planet. It's far better than that person I was trying to kill anything and everything I encountered. I think growing up has a lot to do with your attitudes towards nature in general. Those animals I once viewed as a tresspassers I now see as precious to the Earth. Happy World Snake Day.

I watched with dismay the assassination attempt of MAGA candidate Donald Trump on live television Saturday evening. My dismay quickly turned to rage when I consider all the calls for his assassination by the left and stupid woke negro Maxine Waters with all the little fat woke white lesbian bitches dressed like men floating on the various video sites.
This is the left's modus operandi and quite frankly, I feel it is past time to hold them accountable.
The Secret Service stated that the shooter had fired "from an elevated position outside of the rally venue". It is said that the gunman had fired eight shots.
Law enforcement officials recovered an AR-15-type semiautomatic rifle from a deceased white male they believe was the gunman, according to two law enforcement officials. I keep wondering how he was able to scale a close-in adjacent building with a rifle in the presence of the Secret Service. I am left with a question of DEI incompetence in this matter.
The child assassin, one Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, of Bethel Park, PA remains without known motive. The Secret Service has not said how they killed the shooter and it wasn’t known if he had any accomplices.
The Butler County sheriff stated that an adult male spectator was killed likely attending the rally with his family. He further stated said the man had been in the bleachers when he was shot and that he believed the man had died at the scene.
Two others were critically injured and airlifted to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, according to a hospital spokesman. The authorities did not immediately release further information on the spectators’ injuries.
As the left cries "he missed" and "he is to blame" and "hoax" I go back and look at all the threats from the left and calls for assassination and presently find justice totally lacking in The Republic. I personally think that GITMO or a firing squad is the most appropriate place for Maxine Waters, MSNBC, Schumer, Pelosi and their leftist libtard ilk.
I also feel summary execution to be an appropriate adjunct for anyone involved the an assassination attempt. I'm now prepared to go to war against the left for their haughty position of thinking they are both correct and capable. Boo !
I don't know, call me intolerant, but I didn't ever pose the scenario of Joe Biden being put out of his senile non compos mentis misery. What have we allowed the left to turned us into. A bunch of pussy Republicans unable to do anything meaningful and constructive in the face of advesaries who wish us dead. Cowardice and collaboration with the left is where I see all too many Republicans. Bipartisan my ass. They want your ruination.

Pandemonium is a word used to describe a condition or scene of noisy confusion. It is valueless noise. It represents a an utterly lawless, riotous place or assemblage.
The perfect descriptor for the Main Stream Media and their numerous liars propagating their disinformation and lack of truth to the world to aid and abet the democrats in their nefarious wish to conquer The Republic and claim it as their personal property.
Today is Pandemonium Day.
It is held on July 14 and celebrates that deceit and bedlam and chaos which are secondary to the influence of the great liars of the century: The Main Stream Media.
So when your stupid ass is sitting before the televison taking it all in as "the gospel" just remember:

- Disgruntled Workers Day 2024

I too have been a disgruntled worker on occasion.
When you work for somebody else, they get to control those aspects of employment you may or may not have been accustomed to controlling.
Family businesses and mill supply companies in particular enjoy making the politics as tedious as possible.
The one exception to this in my experience was the handbell place.
It was a family business but they did not make the politics tedious at all. You either did what they needed or departed.
So today is Gruntled Workers Day. This year it is observed July 13. I don't have any information about the frequency of the happening.
My advice to the disgruntled worker is "grin and confront it". Then perhaps pass gas in their general direction.
There's typically not much you can do to amelorate any difficulties in the work place aside from departure.

- Network Crash

My network has been down due to a failure caused by a neutral fault on the power lines.
This situation has been in effect from 07/08-11/2024. The repair process has been somewhat convoluted involving electricians and the local power company.
Dominion SC fixed the fault and then Spectrum determined the secondary damage and repaired that.
Now all of my electronics are working much better and the network is moving along nicely.
I regret these problems over which I had no control. We like to think we are in control of all aspects of our existence, but I am afraid this simply is not the case.

I have allegiance to my own flag, the Stars and Stripes of the United States of America. However, this lends itself to an innate understanding of the importance of the flags of other nations to their indigenous population.
Hello people of Mongolia. Today is their holiday called Political Flag Day. It is an annual July 10 observance aka State Flag Day and is the main state holiday in Mongolia. It is observed with governmental events like military parades and flag raising ceremonies held in the capital of Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar.
The day symbolizes the Mongolian People’s Army and is part and parcel of the annual military parade of the Mongolian Armed Forces. It is also a celebration of the anniversaries of the Mongol Empire and the Mongolian Statehood.

It's Fashion Day which happens on July 9th annually since 2016. It's designed to bring out that inner fashionista in you. So release that aestehetic aspect of your personality and dress to impress, accessorize, and apply that makeup with dexterity and attention to detail.
Like all too much in today's society the perverts seek to usurp this day for their own ends.
While I'll be the first to admit that my fashion conscious days are long over this notion of the day being for homos and transsexuals is sadly mistaken.
There is still time for many of you to put your best foot forward and present an image worthy without those seedy unkempt tacky elements of that faggot personality you should stop trying to assume.
So just try not to get too sow swine like drag queenish if you don't mind. There is a difference between the male and the female of the species that LGBTQIA+ universe of cretins just can't fathom because they are both stupid and display a distinct lack of raising. People should sprout from parents who aren't siblings. Men are not women. Women are not men. Outside of straight humanity there is only that wish to be what is not there.

I have a friend named Denise whom I haven't seen in a long time. Regardless, I still hold her memories dear to my heart and look forward to that day we might encounter each other once again. Lo, time drags with age but I remain hopeful.
Today is National Denise Day, a July 8th observance. The name is of French and Greek derivation.
Said to originate from the name Dennis which is further derived from Dionysius, the Greek deity of wine and festivity I read about in Bullfinch's Mythology so very long ago.
Despite the popularity of the name there remains just one Denise for me. Absence and the passage of time just makes the heart grow fonder. It's a somewhat elegiacal notion for me personally. Happy Denise Day wherever you are!

I have admired Koi Ponds and the fish occupying thereto.
The Nishikigoi Amur carp populate these colorful wet additions to homes and gardens and I wouldn't mind having one myself only I'm not the construction oriented person to do this task.
Regardless, if you like pet aqua culture the Koi pond certainly can be for you.
So get out there and collect your fine collection of Gosanke and create that aquaculture wonderland.
... And even though they ARE quite edible, try not to feast upon them.

I've been known to frequent the Chef'Store because they have items in quantities I might have to go to Sam's or Costco to purchase.
The "membership fee" is that thing I shun and will go out of my way to avoid both Costco and Sam's regarding. So when you think I need to pay you separately for the alleged privilege of buying merchandise from you think again. I don't need either Costco or Sam's
My mom is partial to their linen feel paper napkins and I agree they are a luxurious alternative to the lunch variety available in the grocery stores locally.
Then the individual portion chips by the case are a big favorite with the local children too.
Not to mention my personal favorite, the frozen shrimp and battered cod fish portions which I simply can't resist periodically.
So ... call me a glutton I enjoy those items I bypass the regular channels to obtain.
I hope you get a lot of what you want as well.

I can't recall the last time I got all kissy faced and laid my lips on a lady.
Suffice it to say it's been years now. I've been told more than once that I am a "good kisser" whatever that means.
I always envisioned myself a family man but I'm afraid that juxtapositioned with a career wasn't flying. It seemed the relationship was always intruding into the career aims and I'm afraid that earnings simply spoke louder.
So today is International Kissing Day and it is that time to set out and get them lips.
Kissing is something people have done a long time. Unless you have rotten teeth or halitosis it can be pleasant for both individuals seeking a level of intimacy beyond proximity. It doesn't really matter which type of kiss to which you may personally subscribe. That underlying meaning to the individuals involved is more what the day is all about. So if you're so inclined and have a consenting partner go for it !
I'll simply remain where I am and wistfully remember those magic days gone by when love was in the air and I had lofty aspirations for other things than those with which I ended up.

We celebrate yet another National Bikini Day today.
It's a good time to head to the beach and check out how much scanty you might see draped across the beauty of the female of the species.
My adventurous days long over, I mostly live vicariously through the media representations of bikini clad babes I encounter as opposed to actually embarking on a mission to see them in person.
We rubber neckers and eye ballers use this day to celebrate the two piece bathing suit and believe me, I do.
So if you're so inclined get all slatered in sun screen and do some sight seeing.
There are far worse things than appreciation of that astounding natural beauty surrounding us ...
Particularly at the beach or on the waterways.

- Mouse Woes

So it's not bad enough that Windows 10 is the worst piece of intrusive mess crafted by the shitbird company called Microsoft run by a nasty yesman sand negro and owned by a stupid god complex billionaire psychopath out to kill everybody on the planet.
I had issues with several mice attached to the workstation of late. I remain unhappy since the last Windows reset which was interfered with by Microsoft numerous times in the form of attempts to force one drive on me (like that was ever happening) and other pains in the ass. I bought this Rival 3 p.o.s. at Walmart to replace the two pieces of logitech junk I returned. I downloaded their software configuration package which turned out to be a 350 meg monstrosity of an installer. I ended up removing the entire package from my machine with extreme prejudice.
Why would a mouse require that much overhead? I suppose the casual gamer can be snowed by some other idiots but this simply was not going to fly with me.
I'm sick of stupid gamers and their stupid ploys which end up revealing they are simply dull and commonplace. I want a mouse that can stand alone and work well in the presence of an operating system written by a company of morons.
I hate Microsoft, manufacturer of Windoze.
I hate Steelseries, gamer lunkhead manufacturer of the Rival 3 mouse.
I'm surrounded by incompetence.
