We have yet another World Diabetes Day. It has been observed since 1991 under the auspices of the International Diabetes Foundation and the World Health Organization.
This was back before the WHO and UN became the underhanded purveyors of subterfuge they are now trying to take over and rule the earth. Like that will ever happen.
Diabetes is a chronic disease where the pancreas doesn’t produce enough insulin if any at all. It also leads to serious health conditions and, is why we take this day to spread awareness and education.
The historical record indicates diabetes has been "a thing" since 1550 BC. Insulin was discovered in 1922.
There are two types of diabetes recognized since about 1850:
Type II (adult onset) diabetes has ballooned to 90% of the those affected. Type I (juvenile onset) diabetes constitutes the rest.
So if you have or suspect diabetes it's a very good idea to go under the care of a physician. Keep it all in check, as I do with my oral antidiabetic medicines and you should be able to get along grandly with the condition.
