I can't claim to possess any unique talents. Alas, I am just a man with regular man abilities despite my success in life otherwise.

Today is Celebrate Your Unique Talent Day.

It happens each November 24 and celebrates our various differences.

While others may claim that my ability to sit at a computer and make it walk the dog is a "talent" I view it as merely a vocation.

Had I done brain surgery for 40 years I would know brain surgery. I have been doing computers for 40 years and therefore that has become my forte.

I don't think my abilities render me unique on the planet. Only fit to handle those things for which I continue to be responsible.

Happy Celebrate Your Unique Talent Day and I hope those things you do bring light to your life and cash in your pocket as have mine.

Farrokh Bulsara RIP

On this day in 1991 Farrokh Bulsara aka Freddie Mercury the lead singer and front man of the band Queen announced that he was HIV positive.

About 24 hours later he passed at age 45 at his Kensington home in London from bronchial pneumonia as the sequela of AIDS.

Rest in peace.

Aldous Leonard Huxley was born on July 26, 1894 and passed on November 22, 1963. He was an English writer and philosopher. His body of work includes nearly 50 books traversing the genres of non-fiction, essays, narratives, and poetry.

Born into a prominent family, he graduated from Balliol College, Oxford, with a degree in English literature.

He edited the literary magazine Oxford Poetry and published short stories and poems and before going on to publish travel writing, satire, and screenplays.

He spent the latter part of his life in the United States, living in Los Angeles from 1937 until his death. He became renoun as one of the most notable intellectuals of his day. He received nominations for the Nobel Prize in Literature nine times and was elected Companion of Literature by the Royal Society of Literature in 1962.

Aldous Huxley was a pacifist. This would make him about 180 out from my philosophical inclinations. He became somewhat of a mystic as well as immersed in universalism which is by all accounts somewhat synecdochial culminating in a work whereby he presented his visions of dystopia and utopia, respectively near the end of his life.

So, this intellect and philsophical wussy came to the earth, made quite an impressive mark, then departed some 69 years later as did my beloved father and my best friend Escoe from Kentucky.

The corrupt prosecutors in the Manhattan District Attorney’s office are proposing a four-year hold on sentencing President-elect Donald Trump in the highly criticized business records case, which many legal minds have argued was politically motivated from its inception.

New York prosecutors in the Manhattan District Attorney's office are a criminal element which should be eliminated from The Republic with extreme prejudice.

I would be happy if New York City were ejected from the state and The Union with their complacent citizens taken as prisoners to GITMO like the brigands they are.

Just where do these criminals get off, anyway.

Trump’s transition team claims victory in the proceedings. The entire notion of arbitrarily placing a 4 year hold on sentencing is among the farthest reaches of corrupt juris prudence around. Where are the just consequence upon this nation ?

Use Less Stuff Day 2024

I have accumulated a lot of stuff over the years.

Some of the things laying around don't even get used.

I call this stuff junque.

Today is Use Less Stuff Day.

It happens on the third Thursday in November annually which makes it November 21 this year.

This day was created to make us aware of that clutter which results from the unnecessary items which accumulate in our homes over time.

It also promotes a minimalist lifestyle where we surround ourselves only with essentials.

That dark side of my persona who seeks justice for the two dead babes, the nature of that subterfuge the mother presented towards the populace, and those behavior problems she has presented while incarcerated have only made be believe whole heartedly that justice was indeed served today.

As I looked upon the father still grieving after 30 years and the other family members telling how they have been affected I can only think that another 30 years would be quite appropos.

I read an interesting piece on Breitbart today where William Shatner said to Bill Maher "global warming" scares him the most about President-elect Donald Trump’s landslide election victory.

"It’s not going to get better," according to Mr Shatner.
He went on to mention the heavy weather experienced lately as though it is something which can be affected by the way past due election of Mr Trump or the notions of the ilk of Bill Gates, Mr Shatner, and other unqualified persons like them.

"I mean, we're seeing these storms hit now — once in a thousand years storms are now hitting every other year, every year. And it’s not like you can say, 'Well, it’s going to get better.'"
I attribute this knee jerk reactivity to the actions of those like Mr Gates who should be prevented from doing all the harm he is doing with impunity.

While mechanisms like High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) are much more likely culprets in the heavy weather of hurricaines and tornados such he and others like him persist in the cyclic climate changes which have been going on for eons are the most likely culprets.

Blaming Mr Trump for all human activity not withstanding, I'm sure we're getting warmer. In that cyclic nature of climate this usually triggers some ice age or other cooling event. There is no cause and effect relationship between the election of Donald Trump and "global warming", "climate change" or any of the idiotic talking points of the green new deal.

Mr Gates and his persistent untrained pseudointellectual meddling into the world in general is bound to be picked up by scientific lightweights like William Shatner who will grasp at straws seeking answers that simply lay elsewhere.

Bill Gates and Bill Shatner need to curb their less than fully guided public interference in the world just because nobody seems willing to stop them. Too much money results in way too much mouth and meddling otherwise into the world and on the public forum regardless of proven technical relevance.

I decline to be a lab rat willfully because some billionaire psychopath wants to make me one.

The cyclic nature of climate change has been our history long before these two arrived on the Earth claiming to have all of the answers which are likely incorrect.

I trust the science. It's some of the people I hold suspect.

Now is the time for all good people to come to the aid of their country

Now is the time for all good people to come to the aid of their country.

In the victory of Mr Trump and all the great portends surrounding it we must remain vigilant of both the democrats who are without character and sense of fair play as well as the deep state which will stop at nothing to prevent all the good which looms before us on the horizon.

These are exciting time but let us not be complacent.

Odd Socks Day 2024

As a rule I don't wear odd socks. You know, those wild patterns, clashing or neon colors, made with individual toes, strange stripes, paisley prints, geometric designs, et cetera.

No I wear plain white socks and make it a point to change them several times a day ...

You know, the adult onset diabetes thing.

So this is Odd Socks day.

It is held on the first day of the third week in November.

It is an outlet for the expression of style and quirky inclinations and also promotes a good cause.

I don't go in for the conventions of dress whereby you are "supposed" to wear a sock colored similarly to your shoes.

For me there is no such thing as a fashion faux pas. No rules, no foul and I'm not one to apologize needlessly either.

The day began in 2017 under the auspices of the Anti-Bullying Alliance as a way to deter bullying in school. I don't know how this sock deterence operates, but I have my own methologies that I employ at the drop of a hat. I find it impossible for an unconscious person to bully anyone. Particularly when they need to find a reconstructive dentist pretty quickly as well.

Regardless you should always feel able to express yourself without fear of reprisals from someone displaying a distinct lack of raising. It's a manners thing. I wasn't always one to support manners. That was then this is now.

I have known a number of persons named Charles in my lifetime. They were all varied in stature, humor, and intellect and it stands to reason that this is due to the variance between people in general.

Today is National Charles Day.

It is observed on November 16 annually and is dedicated to celebrating and increasing awareness of the name "Charles".

This day also offers a moment in time to discuss famous people named Charles in the world, their contributions, and the uniqueness of their names.

The meaning of the name, nicknames, and variations may also come to the fore. Charles is from the Germanic word ‘Karl,’ meaning a "full-grown man" or simply "a man".

Charles, Prince of Wales, was born November 14, 1948, is the late Queen Elizabeth II’s eldest son who became King after being heir to the British throne for a very long while. He was a good son who declined to request his mother's abdication. However, I have personally had moments where I considered his general taste in women and female companionship.

As for me, I am okay with my own name which is not Charles, but is biblical and means 'beloved'.

National Family Civility Day 2024

Intolerance is not a bragging right. We should make accommodations for family members who transgress our feelings regardless of how important we feel those circumstances are.

For example, I have been a stalwart opponent of homosexuality. My protests against the gay lifestyle are the stuff of legend. Well, now I have learned I have a gay relative. Am I to reject this person solely on my opinion of their sexuality and lifestyle or do I set it aside for purposes of family harmony and good will.

Well, after pondering the notion extensively I have decided this person in particular represents a faction for which I should set aside my objections in the name of peace and harmony. In the name of family.

I met this person and felt it immoral to reject them over something they ostensibly didn't pick for themselves nor can control.

Oh the travesty of hipocracy this brings to mind. Be all of it as it may I am going to lighten up now because this is not a man claiming to be a woman or a woman claiming to be a man. It is someone attracted to someone of his same gender.

Life is about getting past things. I will now overlook homosexuality as a trigger item in my life on the behalf of this relative who is a quiet reserved person deserving of my accommodation. Transgenders WILL NOT be so lucky in my presence. Better give me very wide berth or be well armed.

Today is National Family Civility Day.

It happens each November 15th annually in the name of celbrating all types of families who are civil to and support each other.

It began as a notion of Dr Rebecca Harper of the Family Civility Institute in 2019 and recognizes nuclear families, blended families, families with disabilities, childless families, and chosen families such as friends or significant others.

I feel this encompasses sexual orientation as well and as such I'm stepping back from my severe criticisms because my relative impressed me with the fact that is it most certainly warranted.

Such is my life. Monitor and adjust. I have encountered reason for an exception to my attitudes and have made it.

World Diabetes Day 2024
We have yet another World Diabetes Day. It has been observed since 1991 under the auspices of the International Diabetes Foundation and the World Health Organization.

This was back before the WHO and UN became the underhanded purveyors of subterfuge they are now trying to take over and rule the earth. Like that will ever happen.

Diabetes is a chronic disease where the pancreas doesn’t produce enough insulin if any at all. It also leads to serious health conditions and, is why we take this day to spread awareness and education.

World Diabetes Day

The historical record indicates diabetes has been "a thing" since 1550 BC. Insulin was discovered in 1922.

There are two types of diabetes recognized since about 1850:

Type II (adult onset) diabetes has ballooned to 90% of the those affected.
Type I (juvenile onset) diabetes constitutes the rest.

So if you have or suspect diabetes it's a very good idea to go under the care of a physician. Keep it all in check, as I do with my oral antidiabetic medicines and you should be able to get along grandly with the condition.

In my life I have been taught the Biblical tenet "love is kind".

In my parents attempt at actually "raising" me, I have been instructed that I should be kind to dumb animals and other humans I encounter along the way.

Toward that end I try to keep my natural tendency for combativeness to a minimum. Yeah, I'm somewhat of a loner and attempt to keep much of the world at bay. Perhaps rightfully so. Perhaps not.

This being said I am also quite the pushover when it comes to contributing that which I am and have to others.

This has sometimes resulted in personal issues of finance but I got past it all.

World Kindness Day is an international observance since November 13, 1998 under the auspices of the World Kindness Movement. This movement is actually a coalition of non-governmental organizations and is observed in many countries.

So as it has been said to me far better to be kind and try to help than to leave others to suffer. I try to remember this. I also seem to attempt maintaining a certain aloofness which goes against all of that as well. All I may do is the best that I can with others.

I am quite approachable and engaging in the absence of some woke bullcrap being spouted off in my face.
