Today is World Vegetarian Day.
Established by the North American Vegetarian Society in 1977 and endorsed by the International Vegetarian Union in 1978 it is a celebration of the vegetarian diet with all the benefits the lifestyle has to offer in the way of health and peaceful coexistence with animals.
Thus begins Vegetarian Awareness Month aka "Reverence for Life" month and the "Month of Vegetarian Food" and it's all simply too much sometimes for a carnivore such as myself.
Forgive me PETA as I enjoy my goodly piece of cow.

- Blasphemy Day 2018

This is International Blasphemy Day aka International Blasphemy Rights Day. It's aim is to educate people about blasphemy law and endeavors to defend freedom of expression, particularly as it pertains to criticism of religion in countries where it is criminalized.
Founded in 2009 by the Center for Inqury it wa created after a student presented the idea that religion should be subject to examination and criticism as are politics and other components of interpersonal relations and the pursuit of free speech has been an emphasis since then.
With all the ridiculous "pc" crap which has been circulated by the left indoctrinated students of the world in all their ignorant glory the "virtue signalling" of the left where virtue does not exist is a distinctly moronic characteristic which should also be questioned. Though I am indeed a spiritual person I likewise believe in the pursuit of answers for those who seek them regardless of the discipline or theology.
That stupidity which is "identity politcs" has lead us down a tenuous path of both academic failure and generations of individuals who cannot function in the real world.

- World Heart Day 2018

One of the most devastating experiences is the loss of a loved one. Particularly one made to suffer.
The hospital staff will be all polite but they really do detach themselves from any pity for lifestyle diseases in general and would just as soon tell you in no uncertain terms how much fault lay with the patient than anything else.
Some of the physician's office staff treating these lifestyle diseases are the rudest human beings on the planet.
I don't want to mention any names ... Dr Ghent.
Cardiovascular disease remains one of the most common killers of people and has been for decades.
Lifestyle choices, those habits we cultivate over time, genetics, and diet in particular influence the disease process and often time those consequences are severe ...
Not just for the individual experiencing the disease, but for those loved ones who care about that individual as well.
World Heart Day began in 2000 as a vehicle by which people could be informed internationally regarding the impact of heart disease and stroke — which continue to be leading cause of death on the planet.
So unless you're an evil democrat like the rude violence inciting troglodyte Maxine Waters or the evil tard imbecile Cory Booker you have a heart.
It's up to you to take care of it because the hospital which escorts you to The Almighty in those final days could really not care less about you and your lifestyle diseases causing your death.

- The Feast of Wenceslaus I

Today is the feast of Good King Wenceslaus of Christmas time legend and glory.
He was the son of Vratislaus I, Duke of Bohemia. His mother, Drahomíra, was the daughter of a pagan tribal chief.
His family was Christian since the conversion of his grandfather and baptism of his mother and he was educated by his grandmother and the college at Budec.
He was Václav the Good and duke of Bohemia until he was assassinated on this day in 935 by a contingent which included his younger brother.
His martyrdom gave rise to his status in the Church with a reputation for heroism and good works.
He was declared a King and was recognized as the patron saint of the Czech state.
Today is his feast which commemorates his ascension.
His claim to fame is Saint Stephens Day and the Christmas holiday season.

- National Good Neighbor Day 2018

When I think of good neighbors I think the late Fred Rogers. He was the absolute consummate example of manners, decorum and tolerant social identity which fosters excellent interpersonal relations.
He is about as far from the democrats, stupid adherents to ANTIFA, idiotic socialists, moron globalists, and all these other radical elements heading straight on into the disaster which can only happen when they butt heads with the wrong group of fed up conservatives ... like myself.
National Good Neighbor Day is an annual recognition each September 26 began in the early 1970s by one Becky Mattson of Lakeside Montana to recognize the importance of good neighbors.
After being established by a proclamation of President Jimmy Carter on September 22, 1978 establishing September 24, 1978 as good neighborday the senate passed a resolution by Montana Senator Max Baucus designating September 26 as Good Neighbor Day.
Seeing how Senator Baucus is a retired democrat there must have been a time when the democratic party wasn't that bat crap crazy entity as a whole LIKE IT IS NOW because too many of them know little to nothing about being good neighbors and are heading straight for those consequences toward which the path of bad citizenship typically lead.

One is Carolyn Dodson, an old friend who I once engaged with my child's mind in an effort to understand people and places much better.
She is lost to me forever and the grief I sustain within my heart is something I've had difficulty relinquishing.
Despite my best efforts to regain the past it remains relegated to that time which has transpired — for "maybe tomorrow" ultimately becomes that awareness of the fact that we are only promised today.
It adds to the unworthiness which sometimes permeates my being when I recall all those moments I planned to stop by yet did not.
It multiplies the remorse of not saying what I needed to say.
We get very few friends during our journey through life ...
Much less those REAL friends such as the Dodsons and others I can no longer reach out to and embrace for all they have meant to me.
The good intentions were there but the reality was distinctly lacking.

- Lottery Antics

My truck is in the shop getting a new timing chain.
This has left me to my own transportation devices, namely hoofing it.
So I walked up to the nearest lottery vendor and played the ticket I brought. Unfortunately, the ticket I played was for tommorrow's lottery; not tonights.
All that remained was to walk home, fetch the correct ticket, retrieve more cash and walk back.
The guy behind the counter was amused with the fact that though I had to make two trips, I was no longer playing the "wrong" ticket — but now I had just played a ticket a day early.
Anyway, suffice it to say I need to pay more attention to taking care of business before I go traipsing up the street to play one of those six weekly plays.

- Lethal Genetics and Disposition

I recently attended a memorial service for a young man who had a genetic anomaly which ultimately ended his life prematurely.
He was quite young at his death and in my opinion as well as many who stated in the numerous messages of condolence I read mentioned what a kind, gentle, and sweet person he was.
The proceedings were all very sad indeed and ended on the high note of the hope that we will see him again in Heaven.
I was left feeling how sad it is to note that those who have a true appreciation of life many times are taken too soon while others who have less or none remain here seemingly forever.
This has made me wonder if the challenges associated with deep-seeded organic disease render one more tolerant otherwise ...
Or if there is some inherent evolutionary process by which those challenges imposed upon an individual with profound medical problems imbue them with a grasp which exceeds --
I dare say geometrically; compared to we who have the usual and customary health issues with which to contend.
I suppose the crux of all of this is why do the good truly seem to die young ?
This was an engaging young man who cheerfully meshed with the world around him without the faintest hint of attitude for having to contend with his underlying problems.
He participated in life to the fullest extent possible -- accomplishing much prior to dying far too soon.

Then came the likes of google, facebook, twitter, youtube and the monopoly called amazon and what have you which were acquired or first created with a stated intent of lack of bias and promotion of the exchange of ideas only to have their leaderships insert surreptitious code designed to filter results to promote the bias taint of the leadership of those companies.
And the netizen sheeples just fall into place and continue to use the tainted platforms because they either don't care, agree with the bias, or are too stupid to realize what is going on.
OneWebDay is an annual observance of internet awareness held the 22nd of September. Founded by one Susan P Crawford, her vision for this day is the cultivation of a group of individuals fostering of care about the future of the internet.
Well, Ms Crawford, your vision has been supplanted by the amazons, googles, facebooks, and youtubes of the world which have decided they will just tell you what you think.

- Kitty Habitually Craps in My Yard

This is my neighbor's cat taking a dump in my front yard.
This particular animal likes to spray my privet bush as well and I have that act documented in live video a buch of times.
Well ... unfortunately for him, this feline just signed it's own death warrant.
I wish to snag this animal in a havahart live capture trap baited with tuna.
Then attach a 60 lb test 30 foot chain which has appropriate clips on each end.
Finally travel to a remote nondisclosed location, toss the animal in the river for about five minutes, then pull him up, bring him home and place his corpse where I caught him to rot.
It may be fantasyland but this would be adequate warning for the other felines to perhaps gain some insight into which yard they may or may not crap.
In the spirit of good raising my Mother always told me that I should be kind to dumb animals. She also said that I could differentiate between "dumb animals" and "vermin".
This is where I'm drawing that distinction that the cat needs to go. Besides, the owner should control that animal MUCH better than she is and the LAW should enforce statutes on the books.
I try to be somewhat humane with these tresspassing companion animals of my neighbors. However, seeing how I'm not really acquainted with nor do I really like them either — the offending cats will now just have to be dealt with accordingly.
I'm bloody well fed up with them, their tresspassing, their spraying, as well as their feces.
We have leash laws but none are enforced. Just let them catch you without a seat belt on and boy they want to make an example of you.
Vermin are vermin regardless of the genus or species.

- Another Discontinued Vendor

Pizza Hut. I've been doing business at the 1467 Sumter St Columbia, SC 29201 location for the past ten years.
I usually get their 6 dollar buffet item with water and pay them 10 bucks for it. That's a 40% tip.
Today I ordered a 3 topping pizza for which they charged me 20.06 — which I felt was HIGHWAY ROBBERY.
So I posted a brief note on their corporate site explaining my position on the matter and that I will never return to any of their locations because of this after giving them an idea of the loyal customer I had been up to that point.
I really don't think it will matter to them, but I don't really care either.
I believe in providing value to the customers for those dollars I get.
This did not happen with Pizza Hut and now they will suffer the consequences.
I had been spending a fair amount of money with them over the past 10 years of working uptown.
Dollars add up over time.
Oh the humanity !

I hate this blog because it is an imposition.
It used to be a 'labor of love' but that was prior to learning just how crappy google is in their non organic approach to search engines where they penalize you for not running their ads and passing their leftist filtration scripting where they censor your content like the overbearing cheap shot communist chinese government.
Then there are the stupid so called "SEO professionals" who are simply shysters claiming to provide value where there is none. Can't code. Sloppy critique. These utterly skill-less posers have a better con going on than Hillary, Chelsea, and Bill Clinton — the most crooked dynasty of our age.
Finally, and there is the fact that most people cannot even read the smallest blog entry upon request without feeling put upon to the nth degree ... so I'd just rather not be bothered as well anymore.
Hopefully the new bitchain upstarts to the prevailing idiocracy of leftist moron operations like google, twitter, facebook, and youtube will get theirs and I can finally be indexed properly and fully as I always wished but never received.

- National HIV/AIDS and Aging Awareness Day 2018

Today is a day set aside for HIV and AIDS as it releates to aging awareness. NHAAAD for "short".
I think that this all stems from the fact that a diagnosis of human immunodeficiency virus infection is no longer the "automatic" death sentence it was in the 70s through the 90s and I dare say this has resulted in complacent behaviors among those high risk groups circulating the promiscuity scene.
Though the observance is held under the auspices of The AIDS Institute; I found tidbits of information on the CDC site as well ...
With a focus on those challenges associated with an aging population, HIV prevention, testing, care, treatment, and it's a wonder all we old people aren't running around infected by now; my point being that the level of promiscuity found in nursing homes and retirement communities is quite a bit more robust, statistically speaking than I would have ever guessed.
Where did my interest in all this risky behavior go ?
It just diminished over time and I suppose one too many psycho bitches in my life didn't provide much impetus for continued prowling on my part.
