I've been getting Mama the Yeti Rambler 20 oz Tumbler with MagSlider Lid to accommodate her wish to keep iced water handy.
Yes they cost too much and yes they take too long to personalize but I have specific tastes which mark the way I am and these cascade to my choices for others.
I prefer them over her old Contico tumblers because the Yeti product is dishwasher safe whereas the Contico tumbler had a dishwasher safe lid and that was it.
She is amassing a small collection of these so some may be washed while others used.
She fills them with ice and water and the thermal construction retains that coolness she craves in her beverage ...
And a happy Mama makes for a peaceful household.

The email spammage went crazy the last week of the year. There were immense attempts from MANY outlook.com clients among various others.
It got so bad that I simply firewalled the whole lot of outlook servers and the other main culprets otherwise.
This dirtbag microsoft network operated by the scum microsoft company with skill-less tards that no less touts itself as one of these champions against the spammer when they are as big a culpret as the other assholes thinking they're so great on the internet as well.
What is the hallmark of a network with no skilled IT people behind it?
Your whois database entries all point to gd microsoft.
Can you say gmail kiddies? What a bunch of spammers they are as well touting this false uppity attitude with their spf record requirements which simply doesn't wash.
The spammers have spf records in their dns while I — who NEVER sends spam — do not because the spectrum idiots don't seem to be able to handle it after numerous requests.

I have long and fond memories of Betty White.
I used to watch her and her husband on the game show password when I was a kid.
I was into that sort of thing back then.
She started in radio at a young age and did movies and television throughout my life.
Over the years she as piqued my interest intermittently and I absolutely adored her performances.
I was a fan of her timing and that fluidity of her lines she added to each and every performance ...
From Rose Nylund on the Golden Girls through her excellent hilarious portrayal of Catherine Piper on Boston Legal.
The world is a far less entertaining place without Betty White.

Yeah, another new year is upon me.
I only hope I don't screw up this one as badly as I did last year.

Kwanzaa is a contrived holiday made up by black people for black people back in 1966.
It's based on intrinsically meaningless african harvest festivals in an attempt to promote some bygone african identity and lend diminishment and secularization to our Christian holiday season.
It's a synthetic holiday implemented by those who don't wish to fit into the American experience. Oppression is a perception more than the reality anymore. What type behavor would one expect from an enslaved race.
How am I who is basically a repressed white american supposed to take all the favoritism and lies being propagated by multple groups who are in some derrogotory fantasy land about both history and existential fact?
I simply choose to ignore them.
So while Miss America, Miss USA, and other pageants are integrated, their "black" counterparts remain. Everwhere there are separatist black institutions like the black pages, bullshit "image" awards (puke), as well as other examples of nigas on parade and what have you ad nauseum which are parallel to the mainstream ones but available only to blacks. F☠ck you racist people and die. Racisim is a black contrivance as is this nothing pseudoholiday which celebrates africa and africans. Not all blacks are racist but way too many are.
There has been a long standing push for reparations. When the phonecians and egyptians pay reparations to the Jews then I think this might be appropriate.
F☠ck Kwanzaa and black lives don't matter any more than anyone else's. I have never believed in slavery but I'm totally weary of the overplayed BLM marxist bullshit rhetoric being passed as some valid argument when it isn't.

On this day in 1998 the Khmer Rouge, that radical communist movement that controlled Cambodia publicly apologized for the estimated 1.5 million people who were killed via purges and executions and even family member betrayals during their rule.
Why do we continue to have to suffer betrayal and that overbearing criminality of monsters like the democrats and progressives and their unscrupulous immoral deviant blight and fouling of The Republic ?

- Happy Birthday Denzel Washington

One of my favorite actors is Denzel Washington. He earned this status with the portrayal of characters which piqued my interest and made me cheer.
He further entrenched himself in my heart with his forthright and positive attitudes which he both makes public and for which he declines to apologize.
First was John Hobbes in Fallen. He portayed a homicide detective immersed in the supernatural.
Joe Miller in Philadelphia. He played a Philadelphia personal injury lawyer who championed a dying AIDS patient even though the act was unpopular among his peers.
Malcolm X in the eponymous production by Spike Lee. The production values were superb and his portrayal of el-Hajj Malik el-Shabazz second to none. I actually thought I was seeing the man and his reactions in some of the scenes.
Then there was Private Trip in Glory. I loved his militant attitude and go getter style as a soldier in the Union army.
Frank Lucas in American Gangster gave me a vision of Denzel portraying the heavy handed outlaw.
Let us not forget John W Creasy in Man on Fire. What a stupdendous character who shook the criminal underworld with his vengence against the corrupt judicial police in the name of a small child taken from her parents. He really showed them who was the professonal.
Finally there was Robert McCall in The Equalizer franchise that made me cheer with his taking care of business in no uncertain terms.
Denzel Washington is an American actor, director, and producer. His performances on the screen and stage have given him a place in both history and my heart as a reinventor of role portrayal and I for one am grateful for his presence upon the screen.
When so much is woke bullshit in Hollywood he refuses to stoop in his productions.
Today is Denzel Hayes Washington Jr's birthday. Happy birthday to you !

- Claxton Fruitcake reminds me of Grandma

I was in the local grocery store and picked up a pound Claxton Fruitcake from the display.
Upon returning home later I had a piece and was transported back to the days of grandma Sallie and all those flavors she had around her house.
This particular fruit cake comes in two varieties, "regular" and "dark" and in two sizes, 12 oz and 16 oz — but I cannot distinguish between the two from a standpoint of flavor.
I suppose I'm simply too immersed in the sentimentality which overcomes me when I have a taste and my thoughts are transported back to my childhood and thoughts of grandma who passed so long ago.
I miss you grandma.
