Richard Speck Passed in 1991
Richard Speck

The American mass murderer named Richard Benjamin Speck was born on December 6, 1941 in Kirkwood, Illinois the seventh of eight children. He was from a broken home whereby his beloved father died when he was six and his stepfather abused him unmercifully.

He died on December 5, 1991 in Joliet at age 49 after getting over on the criminal justice system for most of his life. He is known for killing eight female nursing students in a Chicago town house in 1966. He went largely unpunished dying of lifestyle disease instead of the electrocution he so richly deserved.

Prior to his life sentence incarceration he was arrested numerous times for things like check fraud, murder, rape, and yet he was set loose upon the earth beyond all of that to commit more acts of murder and mayhem.

He was sentenced to death in the electric chair. Then the libtard Supreme Court declared capital punishment unconstitutional in 1972. This commuted his sentence to eight consecutive terms of 50 to 150 years.

He was denied parole a number of times and died of a heart attack at age 49 after a life of homosexual debauchery and drugs in prison — some of which was filmed at Stateville Correctional Center in Joliet, Illinois and shown on broadcast television under the auspices of journalist Bill Kurtis.

It makes me wonder just how someone like this may slip through the cracks and actually enjoy his incarceration while those families who remain of his victims receive nothing in the way of justice. If anyone is truly in Hell as punishment for misdeeds in life it is surely this man.

Burn in hell.

Richard Speck Victims
Gloria Davy, Patricia Matusek, Nina Jo Schmale, Pamela Wilkening, Suzanne Farris, Mary Ann Jordan, Merlita Gargullo, and Valentina Pasion
were murdered by Richard Speck with a knife.

Krampusnacht 2024
    Krampus
Nothing like a nice soothing monster to temper the holiday season. This brings us to the mighty devil Krampus, a monster which is half-man and half-goat who captures naughty children on the night prior to the feast of Saint Nicholas whereby he chastises them roundly and swats them with bundles of 'ruten' (twigs) by which they are to remember him.

Krampusnacht is celebrated on December 5 and represents that notion that that which is given may be taken away due to our own short comings.

Saint Nicholas bestows gifts which Krampus may take away from those who are deservedly naughty.

While the origins of the Krampus are unclear, I would guess they are pagan in their roots with the general appearance of devils and such.

I for one could never forget an entity depicted as being hairy with large horns cloven hooves, red eyes, and fangs. I suppose some of us are less influenced by what we see in these days of incorrigible youth who grow to be societal rejects.

Now I have personally been entralled by more involved encounters with Krampus whereby the naughty children are taken away for physical punishment and from what I have seen it is quite effective with the younger incorrigables among us.

I suppose it is a viable alternative to ending up with a child which the world could have done without who has no redeeming value for society whatsoever. This may be why the observance grows increasingly popular both abroad and here in the United States.

So feel free to get out there and drink and be merry. Your children may suffer but you likely will only get hung over.

Santa's List Day 2024
Santas List

He's making a list and checking it twice
Gonna find out who's naughty and nice
Santa Claus is coming to town !

Today is Santa’s List Day.

It happens each December 4.

While I keep copious lists myself this one is both beyond my purview and much more important than any I may conjure up in the heat of the moment.

The list is of Dutch extraction and Sinterklaas, the name for Saint Nicholas in that area of the world.

Be all of this as it may I hope you fall with the nice people and that Christmas is everything for which you could ever ask.

May the eternal child in you come forth with joy during this holiday season !

Merry Christmas.

National Roof Over Your Head Day 2024
    home sweet home
I am fortunate to have a roof over my head. My beginnings were sparse and let me say ... somewhat irresponsible. It was as though I were never going to amount to anything.

Then I enlisted in the Navy, evaluated my life, attitudes, and opinions then began to straighten up. I sought what was above and beyond my druggie cohorts. I pursued excellence in a field where there were few peers.

Now I have completed a successful career. It wasn't 'plan A' or even 'plan B' — but some variant I never anticipated.

So today is National Roof Over Your Head Day. It proposes that we give thanks for what we have, particularly the roof over our heads since so many lack this basic necessity. Food, clothing, and shelter. The three needs of mankind and all to many of us are unfortunate in the provisioning of their lives.

So as you lounge around your home this holiday season I hope you'll give thanks for those tender mercies related to home ownership.

Today we put up Mom's Christmas Tree
Moms Christmas Tree

We continued the tradition of Mom's Christmas Tree today.

We placed her 4 foot National Tree Company fiber optic magnifique example of manufacturing up in the far corner of her living room.

The tradition has been ongoing since she moved into her new house.

We're having those memories as they come and wishing for a joyous Christmas season.

We then pulled the cover off of her couch and placed it in the wash.

Next we sprayed all the furniture and rugs down with our special home made dust mite killer and allowed it all to permeate the room and get those essential oils in the mix activated.

The fragrance is very pleasant.

So now we are a vision of holiday loveliness ready for the season to commence.

National Bartender Day 2024
    bartender
Back in the old days I knew a fair number of bartenders.

They populated the various watering holes I sought out to imbibe the various spirit concoctions they would proffer for that altered state of consciousness I sought.

Bartending as a profession has been around since ancient times. The bartender crosses cultures and ethnicities and oh so many establishments designed to water down your attitude and relieve you of your cash.

Today is National Bartender Day.

It happens each December 2 in an effort to recognize those who mix your drinks and provide them to you on demand. Mixology is a late manifestation of their craft and it is no trivial task to remember how to mix the various drinks requested at any bar.

So Happy National Bartender Day if you like to get out their and have a drink on occasion.

Day Without Art 2024
choose your bomb

When the AIDS epidemic began I was working in the medical field. I migrated from the Emergency Room to a wholistic clinic on the West coast where indeed, those ravages were much more evident and the procedures and requirements of work increasingly stringent.

One of those ideas batted around which stayed with me over the years was the notion that the epidemic had struck down a disproportionately large number from the arts community. In LA this was much more of a tragedy because a lot of persons living there worked in the arts ... as well as frequenting bath houses and engaging in anonymous unprotected sex.

Thus began the impetus of Day Without Art in 1989 under the auspices of one Robert Atkins who was a writer and art critic as well as three curators named Gary Garrels, Thomas Sokolowski, and William Olander. It is observed each December 1 which appropriately coincides with World AIDS Day.

The day is one of remembrance and mourning with closed places of business, dimmed lights, shrouded works of art and posters about AIDS, screening of documentary films, and memorials to those lost from 'the plague'.

I used to joke and laugh about the AIDS epidemic. Then I found myself thrust within it at witnessed it's victims first hand. It is less a humorous idea these days and more a sad notion in my mind.

National Mississippi Day 2024
    Welcome to Mississippi Sign
It's National Mississippi Day. It happens each November 30 annually and is a time I reflect on that chunk of my family living there, the Gores clan. These are a lively bunch and I enjoy their company immensely as well as their friends and cohorts.

Mississippi was the 20th admission to the United States of America and has had a profound effect on the music industry as well as historical relevance in the civil rights movement.
Hattiesburg seal

The Mississippi Delta gave rise to the "Delta blues", a lot of country music, as well as rock and roll, jazz, and gospel musical genres.

The state is named for the Mississippi River which flows through its western border.

When I was a kid the word 'Mississippi' was one of the first ones I learned to spell. Seems like it was a feature of all the spelling bees in my elementary school days.

Despite all this illustrious value to the nation my biggest attraction to the entire state are my dear cousins the Gores from Hattiesburg.

Happy National Mississippi Day for whatever your personal attraction may be !

Native American Heritage Day 2024
    Native Americans
The most downtrodden individuals in the United States are the Native Americans who have been robbed of their lands and cheated out of what was supposed to be theirs.

The ancestors of slave like to whine about being owned by a lot of white satans but indeed, it was their own people who sold them out to the dutch who then transported and sold them to whitey.

So black idiot shut your stupid traps and give pause to the real victims of the United States.

The tribes who were here before us are the actual losers.

The ancestors of slaves think they are supposed to have their own events then be able to participate in historically white events as well. Black pages. Black Miss America. Black this. Black that.

This is Native American Heritage Day.

If you aren't of native american extraction quit whining about everything you think was done to your whiney ass.

What do you love about America Day 2024
What do you love about America Day
It's What do you love about America Day.

It's dedicated to giving thanks for America and is held in the vicinity of Thanksgiving Day.

This year it falls on November 27. Time to express that which you feel.

I for one love that Donald Trump was elected to replace the idiot libtard Biden Harris administration who continue to bring detriment to this nation even in late lame duck status.

Let us hope the democrats never again gain control to drag us down to the depths of that cesspool they wish The Republic to become in the name of them controlling all of us with unqualified impunity.

Those dullards with bad ideas and sad implementations and underlying wishes to control everything and everybody.

Their megalomania must be curtailed by any means necessary for the liberals are the enemy within.

National domination cannot be left to the unscrupulous, immoral, and stupid woke democrat freak show.

God Bless America !

Anti Obesity Day 2024
    obese young man

When I was a navy brat we moved all over. Consequently, in school I was always the 'fat new kid with acne' and suffered those consequences. My daddy thought it was the least I could do.

Today is Anti-Obesity Day.

It happens each November 26 annually since 2001 under the asupices of Indian wellness brand VLCC . The aim of the day is to highlight obesity and that public health hazard it presents. Seeing how I had childhood obesity before it became a national tragedy I got a handle on obesity earlier than most do today.

I did not require bariatric surgery and was pretty much thin by the time I was 24 years old.

So while others flail and founder with the problem of obesity I have had a handle on it a long time now. I believe those with a strong background in anatomy and physiology will have a better time with it.

Also the food companies, which are mostly responsible for the dismal choices of refined foods they offer should be taken to task as should Harvard lying ass University which sold research to order to the food manufacturers also contributing to the problem.

Boo refined foods.
Boo Harvard University.
Happy Anti Obesity Day you big fat blivet.

White Ribbon Day 2024
white ribbon

No violence against women was one of my father's fundamental rules.

I couldn't even scrap with my sister without incurring severe consequences.

The "weaker sex" has been given wide birth around my personal feelings toward anything and I dare say I would not take issue with a woman even though she may be the crassest no brain libtard on the planet.

I always step back then walk away.

Today is White Ribbon Day.

It is observed November 25th this year in the United States.

The campaign is aimed toward raising awareness regarding the prevalence of male violence against women. The white ribbon symbolizes "the idea of men giving up their arms.

Personally, due to those influences of my raising I find the entire notion of drawing any weapon on a woman personally repugnant.

Happy White Ribbon Day. Now keep your hands to yourself.
