In a way, the event which is a tribute to avian species went a long way to cultivate my artistic talents.
In actuality it was the impetus for me to begin creating works of art for the blog.
Prior to then I merely captured, resized, and cropped the various bitmaps of others for illustration.
I don't do it for recognition or for gd twitterverse fodder.
I do it for my own practice in the technical execution of art forms.
So regardless of your motive, I hope you'll take a moment and draw a picture of a bird in the media of your choice.
My personal preference is fat bit edit in a paint program applied to a vector based object oriented drawing package output.
