National Pig Day 2021
piggie
March 1 brings us National Pig Day, the annual event celebrating porcine specimens in the United States.

Midwestern areas of the US are primarily the focus of this event, but I know a lot of pigs in the deep south held in equally high esteem.

The holiday originated here in the US in 1972 by sisters Ellen Stanley, a teacher from Lubbock, Texas and Mary Lynne Rave who hailed from Beaufort, North Carolina.

    Smithfield China
The day is primarily a vehicle to recognize the intrinsic value of the pig ... it's intelligence and such. Unfortunately, it's primary existence consists of procreation for it's role as a food animal.

To add insult to injury the dumb asses at Smithfield sold their company to the gd chinese who now owns a US company.

We should seize all chinese assets in the US and nuke the country from orbit ... preferably while the Bidens are visiting to collect their criminal family payola.

Rare Disease Day 2021
Rare Disese Day
The last day of February brings us Rare Disease Day, which is intended raise awareness for rare diseases and improve access to treatment and medical representation for families having individuals with rare diseases.

The observance began under the auspices of the European Organisation for Rare Diseases (which is now the National Organization for Rare Disorders) established in 2008 due to what was perceived as numerous rare diseases as well as those which are typically overlooked by the mainstream medical industrial complex.

The organization says that treatment modalities for rare cases is grossly inadequate as are those social and medical support networks.

The day is primarily a vehicle for promotion of support mechanisms, treatment modalities, and research on behalf of those suffering rare diseases. The National Organization for Rare Disorders claims some 200 different medical problems currently populate their list.

AIDS began as a rare disease

International Polar Bear Day 2021
    polar bears
The polar bear is a large white bear which is indigeneous to the arctic regions of the world.

coke be less white
The animal is anthropomorphized and used in various commercial spots for coke until they decided to go all libtard stupid and institute their "be less white" internal training campaign.

So much for the polar bear and coke, eh?

Today we have International Polar Bear Day.

It is a yearly event celebrated on February 27 to raise awareness about the conservation status of the polar bear.

Organized by Polar Bears International to raise awareness about the supposed impact of the global warming myth and reduced sea ice on polar bear populations.

The day would have people find ways to reduce their carbon output, such as by turning down their thermostat or driving less. It attempts to incorporate all the libtard fakery du jour regarding the world and is a picture of the morons incorporating the left in all it's stupid glory.

It has also been used to encourage the installation of energy efficient insulation in houses but that association is pretty weak in an otherwise stupid observance altogether.

It is basically a leftist libtard vehicle for circulating their stupidity at the expense of a wild animal.

The Problem with Popups
ecommerce popup
Anymore ecommerce is rife with popups admonishing you to 'stay in touch' with a vendor with whom you may not even ultimately do busines by plugging in your email address for a discount on your transaction.

The scenario involves going to a site. Looking around for quite a bit less than a minute and boom ... a popup with mailing list and superficial 'deal' offers appears in the way of what you're doing.

Now, while I'm sure some well meaning web developer is just accommodating the bidding of the client in these scenarios I for one simply close the browser with extreme prejudice on each occurrence so that they might know this behavior is unsatisfactory and will not be tolerated. After all, in ecommerce as elsewhere:

Caveat Emptor: let the buyer beware.

If they will walk on you during visits from the web they likely will treat you far worse over time.

Web sites need to be well mannered or begone !

Stupidity
    You Are Stupid
There is an abundance of individuals having or showing a great lack of intelligence or common sense which has precipitated my resignation at work.

The local University of South Carolina recently had a senior faculty member report that degrees from that institution in the field of information technology weren't worth the paper they're written on because the curriculum is a failed example of higher education which doesn't know it's ass from a hole in the ground.

Given this fact you would think that a stupid so-called CIO at an incorporated municipality might realize that her ignorant contention that a 4 year degree requirement is valid might not be correct itself.

However, this is based on the contention that she were not as dumb as dirt when that likewise would be an incorrect notion. This is a stupid, skill-less bureaucrat with nothing on the ball except ensconcement in an organzation where the stupid are placed in charge of the skilled.

So the next time some stupid human being decides he or she needs to be in charge you might want to consider the trueism that a degree does not impart knowledge at any level.

I know so many people ... with Ed D degrees in particular — who are "all show and no go". Without smarts or redeeming virtue whatsoever.

Memories of Don Knotts
Don Knotts
Don Knotts was one of those ubiquitous characters from my childhood and early adulthood.

I regret that once I attained what I mistakenly felt was maturity and sophistication that I was too complicated for his humor.

The award winning actor and comedian was born Jesse Donald Knotts on July 21, 1924 and passed on February 24, 2006 at age 81.

He is interred in Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery in Los Angeles; in one of those areas I once frequented in a younger "wild child" day.

He was on the Andy Griffith show as deputy Barny Fife, but also appeared all over the television with the likes of Red Skelton, Bob Hope, Lucille Ball, George Burns, and of course the classic 'Mr Furley' on Three's Company as well as innumerable voice work in animations and starring in movies and such.

When he passed it was a fleeting memory of days gone by and those wistful thoughts which accompany them through the annals of my mind ...

But alas we will never return there again.

Rest in peace.

Loss of the Pursuit of Excellence
The decline of America began with the loss of the pursuit of excellence. Case in point, in the early to mid 1990s we raised a generation of burger flippers who thought it was preferable to smoke marijuana while in high school classes and generally be rude, stupid human beings.

This scum ultimately reproduced and gave rise to millennials, the single most self indulgent non academically spirited generation ever and the subsequent leftist libtard indoctrination by the stupid teachers in the public school system took care of the rest.

The Republicans are equally at fault for their laissez faire policy of not keeping their eye on the untrustworthy leftist libtard progressives of the NEA and other stupid teachers in the United States.

us democratic party

So now, where we were mostly pursuant of good things we are left with a lot of people who have the audacity to spew their unintelligent vitriol, claim to be a gender types they are not, and other abominations embraced by a democratic party out to seize power by stealing it, or lying to them, illegal immigration under the promises of unlimited entitlements at the expense of the taxpayer ... and supporting their idiotic illogical, and unscientific contentions like "transsexuality" the falsehood of climate change, and various perversions of history.

This has resulted in widespread desicration of the United States by an element which should not be allowed to operate nor exist in those falsehoods they not only spread, but actually believe in all their stupidity.

So when you think of Nancy Pelosi, Chuckie Schumer, the incessant liar Adam Schiff, the retarded Joe Biden and his criminal family as well as the corrupt Kamala Harris and subversive constituency of "the squad" just remember:

This is precisely the mess things become in the absence of proper governance and observing the rule of law. Things can and will change one way or another. It may require civil war but the democrats are on the defensive because they are not standing the scrutiny of the world in all their stupidity.

How could we not have controlled our destiny and the securty of the Republic MUCH better than this. We allowed criminal idiots without a modicum of substantive good to steal the election and nobody did anything about it.

NASCAR is incorporated on this day in 1948

NASCAR. The National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing ... best known for stock car racing is something in my life which has always been there.

Hailing from the 'deep south' it is automatically surmised that I'm a fan much like the many insipid inbred beer drinking southern pukes in my midst.

I was even defrauded by a credit card company who had the audacity to open a credit card for someone unknown to me based on that stupid assumption.

nascar logo

No. I do not like NASCAR.
No. I have never liked NASCAR.
No. I will never like NASCAR.
Yes. I think those who pursue the so-called "sport" should be shot and left to rot where they drop.

NASCAR is stupid.
People who like NASCAR are stupid.

Had I not been exploited by some stupid individual who thought I automatically like NASCAR I wouldn't feel so much hate.

Too bad. I shall be hating on both NASCAR and it's proponents til I die.

BOO.

Eric Cartman should be killed
    Eric Cartman is evil
In my travels I have watched South Park repeatedly such that I believe I've been through the entire series several times.

A recurring theme in all of this is that evilness I perceive to be Eric Cartman.

His mother, Liane Cartman presents as a somewhat dull but sweet, slutty, and indulgent mother.

Except in very few episodes; the child Eric has presented with a never ending stream of evilness which can only be described as some psychosociopath which should be erased from the planet quickly and in as cruel and painful a manner as possible.

While I am sure this was intended as a theatric device in the context of the program, it has devolved to a state of total incomprehensibility with a child clearly out of control whose outrageous behavior and terrible treatment of his peers renders him never to be recovered again.

Were he my child I would shoot him in the head with a .357 hollow point and call it a day.

Someone should scrap this shitbird and start over. He ceased being funny to me personally long ago. He has absolutely no redeeming value and I don't care who his uninvolved daddy is.

Adventures in Upgrades 2021
Today I installed the new SIIG pcie 4 port USB 3 adapter into the Lenovo shitbox I bought a few years back.

Initially, I was thinking I would gain 4 ports, but alas ... the provisioning on this piss poor Lenovo effort already utilized a 2 port pcie in the destination slot.

siig dual profile 4 port usb 3 pcie adapter
At least I was able to double the high speed ports.

So looking the device over I noticed the "notebook in a case" design of the crappy Lenovo workstation would not lend itself to the large mounting plate already attached so I removed it and installed the smaller one.

I reseated the board in the pcie slot and rechecked everything and applied liberal compressed air dust removal prior to affixing the mounting screws.

After giving it one more inspection for good measure I reassembled the case, reattached the cables and looked everything over one last time.

Anyway things loaded like a charm first time. I gave it a few moments and restarted the machine a few times to attain that "last known good configuration" nirvana MCSE training taught me regarding ...

And voila, I went from 2 USB 3 ports to 4 and now everything has a port with a remainder of one for future reference.

The main things are to look things over, exercise static control and reasonable caution, and recheck prior to applying power.

I needed this upgrade badly.

Final word of caution:

Never buy anything from Lenovo or Frys Electronics because they're both companies you're better off without. Nothing but disappointment and trouble. No wonder Dell is making a haul.

Day of the Shining Star 2021
    Kim Jong-il
Today we suffer The Day of the Shining Star. It is a public holiday in North Korea each February 16, the anniversary of the birth of the country's second leader, evil despot thug murderer Kim Jong-il.

Along with the Day of the Sun, the birthday of his predecessor father Kim Il-sung, it is the most important public holiday in the country. What a ridiculous cult of stupid personality.

Kim Jong-il was born in 1941 in the Soviet Union ... naturally.

North Korean propaganda set the date of his birth at February 16, 1942. This places the birth at the Mount Paektu area in Korea. His birthday became an official holiday in 1982 when he began his work in the Politburo of the Workers' Party of Korea. He celebrated his birthdays privately.

In 2012, the year following his death and the advent of his even more evil, more thuggish, worse murderer son, Kim Jong-Un the holiday was renamed the Day of the Shining Star.

This waste of a poor country's resources holds the most lavish observances in the capital Pyongyang and include mass gymnastics, music performances, fireworks displays, military demonstrations, and mass dancing parties.

The North Korean people receive more food rations and electricity than usual on the Day of the Shining Star.

Singles Awareness Day 2021
Happy Singles Awareness Day loser
Talk about the ultimate whiner's consortium.

Today is Singles Awareness Day, aka Singles Appreciation Day hits us yet again on this February 15 and is said to be the antithesis of Valentine's Day.

The day is an unofficial holiday celebrated by single people and said to be a celebration of love in all forms recognizing the love between friends, family and loving yourself.

Singles Awareness Day is a time for single people to gather and either celebrate or commiserate in their single status.

Some want to remind romantic couples that they don't need to be in a relationship to celebrate life.

I personally view it all as a lot of whiny sour grapes on those who cannot satisfy their relationship urges for whatever reason.

I have no such issues myself.

Loser.
