World Homeopathy Day 2021
Homeopathic Dispensary

The World Homeopathy Day is celebrated annually each April 10 in commemoration of homoeopathy and that which it contributes to the medical establishment.

The day corresponds to the anniversary of the birth of German physician Dr Christian Friedrich Samuel Hahnemann who founded homoeopathy.

This system of medical treatment modalities is based on the proposition that the body can cure itself. Those who practice it use minute amounts of natural substances, like plants and minerals which are believed to stimulate the healing process.

Developed in the late 1700s in Germany the field of homeopathy is commonly available to patients in many European countries with considerably less of a following in the US.

If you go to a wholistic medical practice you are likely to have homeopathic services made available to you.

Homeopathy is not emergency medicine. It is inappropriate for life threatening situations and is primarily directed at milder, more chronic afflictions.

It is never a bad idea to get a second opinion from a another type practitioner before embarking in any homeopathic course of actdion in an effort to preclude drug interactions and ingredient precautions such as those for heavy metals and others of known toxicity.

National Former Prisoner of War Recognition Day 2021
National Former Prisoner of War Recognition Day
When I was in the Navy I did not serve with any sense of 'honor' as I understand it today. Sure, I did what I was told and attempted to 'toe the line' as well as I could but the sense of duty was not there. I was just getting by in the next phase of my life and really did not comprehend the notions of consequence as it relates to "what you do tomorrow depends on what you do today".

So I just squeaked by performing marginally in a job I didn't enjoy when I could have excelled in another I actually liked and heavens knows I would not have been any worse off for embarking on a career choice than I am today having not done so.

So we are the sum total of those choices we make. Duty is sometimes thrust upon us as a function of those consequences we undertake when we raise our hands and take the oath.

That oath is supposed to mean something. I took it seriously upon my enlistment. Too many like Bradley Manning and other traitors think they may scoff at it and pretend they're female when they're not and the libtards shout how heroic ... when in actuality they are cowardice incarnate always seeking another indentity with which to hide their true nature.

And Barack Obama decided he would introduce an undesirable element into the military. One which does not do well in the cramped quarters out at sea or elsewhere. And yet the mistake has been allowed to continue unabated because no one has stood up to the unqualified leftist libtard idiots who lack any real concept pertaining to the requirements of battle, being comrades at arms, and dying for your country.

POWs and MIAs all do.

Of the over 1,500 national days in the United States some are more or less significant in the big picture I hold of consequential notions as they relate to patriotism, country, and duty.

President Ronald Reagan proclaimed National Former Prisoners of War Recognition Day on April 1, 1988, through Presidential Proclamation 5788.

He set the observance for April 9, 1988.

Since then the observance continues. Prisoners of war and those missing in action deserve our respect and remembrance.

World Health Day 2021

The World Health Day is supposedly a global health awareness day observed each April 7, under the auspices of that phony chinese agent of subterfuge, the World Health Organization as well as other related organizations who likewise want you dead in the name of Agenda 2030.

So as you embark on this alleged day marking health in the world just remember these people colluded with China to kill the world then covered for them on the world stage. The organization is run by puppets of the Chinese Communist regime and as such should be liquidated with extreme prejudice.

The United Nations claims to be a benevolent international organization, but has surreptitious plans for the world which are sinister.
Their Agenda 2030 is death to the "excess population" packaged as "sustainability".
The World Health Organization is death in the form of strange bedfellows.
They appear to be under the control of the Chinese Government — which is in search of world domination with their partners the democratic party.

The World Health Organization is DEATH

Tartan Day 2021
gun spiorad

Today is Tartan Day that North American celebration of Scottish heritage supposedly observed each April 6, the date on which the Declaration of Arbroath was signed in 1320.

It was founded in Canada in the mid-1980s and spread to other communities of the Scottish diaspora in the 1990s.

Aussies hold a similar International Tartan Day is held on July 1, the anniversary of the repeal of the 1747 Act of Proscription that banned the wearing of tartan.

Tartan Days typically have parades of pipe bands, Highland dancing and other Scottish-themed events.

So we were supposed to have a Tartan Day celebration in Cayce, SC last year on this date but it was cancelled due to concerns regarding the Wuhan Chinese Coronavirus COVID-19.

I'm sorry to say that the group has pussed out yet again this year even in light of the control exhibited regarding this political tool of the democrats in an attempt to control the population.

It seems that the far overdone democrat control mechanism which has long past it's reality check has yet again worked on the scottish diaspora in South Carolina.

wussy

Seeing how we're not going to have any Tartan Day yet again this year I include the full English translation of the Declaration of Arbroath circa 1320.

To the Most Saintly Father in Christ the Lord, the Lord John, by divine Providence, Supreme Pontiff of the Holy Roman Catholic Church, from his humble and devoted sons, Duncan - Earl of Fife, Thomas Ranulph - Earl of Moray, Lord of Man and Annandale, Patrick Dunbar - Earl of March, Malise - Earl of Strathearn, Malcolm - Earl of Leven, William - Earl of Ross, Magnus - Earl of Caithness and Orkney, and William - Earl of Sutherland; Walter - Seneschal of Scotland, William Soules - Butler of Scotland, James - Lord of Douglas, Roger Mowbray, David - Lord of Brechin, David Graham, Ingram Umfraville, John Menteith - Guardian of the Earldom of Menteith, Alexander Fraser, Gibert Hay - Constable of Scotland, Robert Keith - Marischal of Scotland, Henry Sinclair, John Graham, David Lindsay, William Olifaunt, Patrick Graham, John Fentoun, William Abernethy, David Wemys, William Montefix, Fergus Ardrossan, Eustace Maxwell, William Ramsay, William Montealt, Alan Moray, Donald Campbell, John Cameron, Reginald leChien, Alexander Setoun, Andrew Leslie, and Alexander Stratoun, along with the other Barons, Freeholders and all the common people of the kingdom of Scotland, we send every filial reverence with devoted kisses of your blessed feet.

Most Holy Father and Lord, we know from the deeds of the ancients and we read from books -- because among the other great nations of course, our nation of Scots has been described in many publications -- that crossing from Greater Scythia, via the Tyrhennian Sea and the Pillars of Hercules, and living in Spain among the fiercest tribes for many years, it could be conquered by no one anywhere, no matter how barbarous the tribes. Afterwards, coming from there, one thousand two hundred years from the Israelite people's crossing of the Red Sea, to its home in the west, which it now holds, having first thrown out the Britons and completely destroyed the Picts, and even though it was often attacked by the Norse, the Danes and the English, it fought back with many victories and countless labours and it has held itself ever since, free from all slavery, as the historians of old testify. In their own kingdom, one hundred and thirteen kings have reigned of their own Blood Royal, without interruption by foreigners.

The merits and nobility of these people, even if they were not obvious from the other signs, shine out openly enough from this, that even though they lived at the furthermost ends of the Earth, the King of kings and the Lord of lords, Jesus Christ after His Passion and His Resurrection, called them nearly the first to his most Holy Faith. Nor did He want to confirm them in the said Faith by anyone but the first to be an Apostle, despite being second or third in rank, the brother of the Blessed Peter, gentle Saint Andrew, whom ever since, He has asked to protect them as their Patron.

However, the Holy Fathers, your predecessors, considering these thoughts with a careful mind, bestowed on this very kingdom and people many favours and countless privileges since it was the special charge of Blessed Peter's brother. Thus, obviously, the result was that until now our people lived free and untroubled under their protection until that mighty prince, Edward, King of the English, the father of he who now reigns, came with the appearance of a friend and ally to harass like an enemy, our leaderless kingdom and our people who were accustomed neither to evil or treachery nor to battles or ambushes. He committed injustices, killings, attacks, robberies, arson, the imprisonment of priests, the burning of monasteries, the looting of churches, and countless other enormous outrages, on the said people sparing no one on account of age or sex, saintliness or rank, to an extent that no one could describe nor fully believe unless they had experienced it.

From these countless evils, with His help who afterwards soothes and heals wounds, we are freed by our tireless leader, king, and master, Lord Robert, who like another Maccabaeus or Joshua, underwent toil and tiredness, hunger and danger with a light spirit in order to free the people and his inheritance from the hands of his enemies. And now, the divine Will, our just laws and customs, which we will defend to the death, the right of succession and the due consent and assent of all of us have made him our leader and our king. To this man, inasmuch as he saved our people, and for upholding our freedom, we are bound by right as much as by his merits, and choose to follow him in all that he does.

But if he should cease from these beginnings, wishing to give us or our kingdom to the English or the king of the English, we would immediately take steps to drive him out as the enemy and the subverter of his own rights and ours, and install another King who would make good our defence. Because, while a hundred of us remain alive, we will not submit in the slightest measure, to the domination of the English. We do not fight for honour, riches, or glory, but solely for freedom which no true man gives up but with his life.

It is for these reasons, Reverend Father and Lord, that we beg your holiness with humble hearts and every urgent prayer, knowing that you will review everything with a true heart and a saintly mind since before Him in Whose name you reign on Earth there is neither bias nor difference between Jew or Greek, Scot or Angle, and considering the trouble and anguish brought on us by the English, that you will warn the king of the English, that he ought to be satisfied with what he owns because once it used to be enough for seven kings, and that you will think it right to encourage him to leave us Scots in peace, living in poor Scotland beyond which there is nothing habitable and nothing we desire. For this, we will effectively do whatever we can to gain peace, bearing in mind our situation.

For this concerns you, Holy Father, since you see the raging ferocity of the pagans against Christians, which the sins of the Christians deserve, and the borders of Christendom being pushed back every day and you must see how much it will hurt your saintly reputation, if (which let it not) any part of the church is overcome or induced to sin during your time. Therefore let Him rouse those Christian leaders who say that they cannot go in support of the Holy Land for no reason although they pretend that the reason is wars with their neighbours. The reason for their difficulties is actually because they expect better rewards and weaker resistance in warring with their smaller neighbours. But the omniscient One knows well enough with how light a heart we and our aforesaid lord and king would go there, if the king of the English would leave us in peace.

If your Holiness, trusting too much in the English version of these events, does not truly believe us, or does not stop supporting them to our disadvantage, then, we believe that the slaughter of bodies, the loss of souls, and all the other things that will follow, the injuries that they will do to us and we to them, will be blamed by the Most High on you.

Thus, as if your sons, we are and always will be ready to do for you, His vicar, whatever you require insofar as it is our duty; and so, we commit the upholding of our cause to the Supreme King and Judge, entrusting our worries to Him and completely confident that He will fill us with courage and reduce our enemies to nothing

May God grant you holiness and health in His holy church for a long time.

Sent from the Monastery of Arbroath in Scotland, on the 6th day of the month April, in the year of Grace 1320, the fifteenth year of our abovementioned king's reign.

AARP sends TOO much mail
Ruger Security 6 .357 Magnum
I hate to whine, but nothing pisses me off worse than unsolicited mail. Email. Snail Mail. If it's unsolicited it's all SPAM to me and I detest the sender more than words can adequately express.

I don't know exactly where I acquired this prejudice ...

But it's here nonetheless and certainly not going anywhere. My biggest problem children are companies soliciting business and the medicare supplement bung holes are among the biggest offenders.

    aarp card
AARP is the biggest problem of all in this regard. They are always sending me mail.

My mom gets a lot of mail from them as well but I actually think she feels it is beneficial while I view it all as an incursion into my private life and I would just as soon see them all vanish into nothingness as receive another piece of it ... ever.

So AARP take your unsolicited mail and shove it up your insurance selling crook ass before you incense me to something even more intolerant than this rant.

You've been well over your 1 piece annual limit for years now.

Last Year on this date China held a supposed day of mourning
WHO China Death
On this day last year China held a "national day of mourning" for "martyrs" who died in the fight against the novel coronavirus disease outbreak.

Now then, seeing how the WUHAN China Coronavirus outbreak was the result of sloppy biological warfare preparations on the part of China I find the use of the words "martyr" and "mourning" strangely out of place.

The scumbag leadership of this rogue nation out to take over and consume the world have never been held to account. The World Health Organization who is in the back pocket of China were complicit in the coverup of the epidemiology and they and the rest of the gd United Nations should be ejected from the country like the criminal organizations they are.

So, on this day we have a fake observance by fakers who attempted to kill us all and missed their shot. The consequences for this were little to nothing as the leftists stole the election because the law wouldn't do their jobs. Even the supreme court of the US shirked their responsibility in dealing with this obvious transgression of fair play to a level of criminality as a matter of 'business as usual'.

The pussy unscrupulous immoral payoff taking Biden administration is in the pocket of China and by association the World Health Organization and until such time as thing come into alignment with fairness and equity we should not let up on these brigand no conscience chinese owned murderers.

The criminal element in these days of that subterfuge imposed upon the world by the enemies of the state remains both international and domestic and needs to be recognized and defended against.

I wish Nigel Farage was American
There are very few politicians who don't end up wussies in the United States. They all want to engage any side which may provide benefit to them and are not concerned with matters relevant to their constituents by and large.

When they do take a stand in the name of their constituents they are typically attacked with contrived charges of misconduct as is happening to Matt Gaetz, Republican representative from Florida.

There is no depth to which the left in the United States will stoop, no falsehood too dastardly, no immorality too abominable. They remain the epitome of all that is wrong with the United States of America.

    Nigel Farage
This brings us to that bullwark of nationalist politics Nigel Paul Farage. He is presently an activist, political commentator, broadcaster and former British politician with an impeccable set of credentials who served as Leader of the UK Independence Party (UKIP) from 2006 to 2009 and 2010 to 2016 then leader of the Brexit Party from 2019 to 2021. He was born on this day in 1964.

I cannot count the times I have seen him defend Great Britain against the hoardes of gd muslims and other incursions into British sovereignty which have descended upon and degraded the country. He has stood up against the European Union when so many of his colleages simply turned tail and ran. When you speak of integrity in British politics I think of Nigel Farage because he is not the wimpy ass leadership we have come to expect far too often in the United States.

His political career saw a politican who could and did stand for what he believed to be both right and in the best interests of his country.

We here in the US have an insufficent number of politicans of his caliber. Mr Gaetz is one and so he's under attack by the Justice Department which could stand quite a bit of housekeeping of it's own.

An organization representing justice simply does not do the things for which the Justice Department has permitted by either acts of commission or omission. They should clean up their own affairs prior to having the audacity to go after someone else for though they are "supposed" to be beyond reproach they unfortunately are very far from it. Can you say DEEP STATE SWAMP boys and girls ?

There needs to be consequences for the underhanded leftist dealings such as this and at some point the vermin democrats and their ilk need to be excised from the body politic by any means necessary and dealt with effectively once and for all.

Had we an individual such as Nigel Farage serving the public trust we would have a staunch ally for justice in the United States. As it stands there is no public trust in the United States because the party in power is totally untrustworthy.

Happy Birthday Nigel Farage !

Charlemagne was born this day in 747
Charlemagne
On this day in 747 AD the Frankish king Charlemagne aka "Charles the Great" (derived from the Latin Carolus Magnus) was born in the Frankish Kingdom. He was the eldest son of Pepin the Short and Bertrada of Laon, and was delivered prior to their their officially sanctioned marriage.

He exhibited a keen interest in the sacred music of his time and mandated its use and performance throughout his empire. His support caused liturgical music to flourish in his own time both throughout his sovereign domain in Western Europe as well as establishing a basis for musical culture in the region.

It is said that he set agents forth thoroughout his lands ensuring the faithful incorporated music in worship in accordance with his world view.

He was a driving force behind the Carolingian Renaissance, the first of three medieval renaissances which was a period of cultural activity in the Carolingian Empire ocurring between the late 8th century to the 9th century and was inspired by the Christian Roman Empire of the fourth century.

He was King of the Franks from 768. He was King of the Lombards from 774. He was Emperor of the Romans from 800. He is known as the "Father of Europe" because he united most of both central and western Europe since the advent of the Roman Empire.

He was crowned "Emperor of the Romans" by Pope Leo III on Christmas Day at Old St. Peter's Basilica in Rome making him the first emporer of the Holy Roman Empire.

He was married at least four times and had three legitimate sons who lived to adulthood, but only the youngest of them, Louis the Pious, survived to succeed him. He also had numerous bastard children by various concubines. Ah yes, we kings do like our concubines.

Charlemagne died in 814 at the age of 71 and was interred in Aachen Cathedral located within his imperial capital city of Aachen.

He was later canonized by Antipope Paschal III.

April Fools Day 2021
April Fools Day

Today is April Fools Day, a holday for pranks, hoaxes, jokes, and so forth on a day of obscure origins and longstanding practice.

So if you get pranked today don't feel rained on. I have frequently had to tolerate such goings on ... sometimes while I was in the midst of an unrelated problem which did not lend itself to the levity of the day.

Regardless of whether you're in the mood or not I hope you have a happy day !

Adventures in Upkeep
replacement cpu fan
My workstation is in need of some maintenance. I have been dealing with a loud fan noise for a while now. Toward that end I "presumed" ... (Oh NO) that the issue was the CPU fan`.

So I ordered a replacement which was shipped from China and took a month to get to me.

Swapping it out I find the same noise coming from the case.

replacement power supply
So ... I cracked the case again and plugged it up only to find the sound was coming from the power supply and NOT the CPU fan.

This only goes to show you that one should check things out MUCH better than I did.

So the CPU fan got a nice coolermaster upgrade and the bloody new power supply is on order and I'll swap it out in due time.

Yes, this was not a great example of troubleshooting in action but I got by with the primary waste being time waiting on the fan. Here's to exercising a more acceptable level of due diligence before the fact in the future.

Remembering Richard Jewell
    Richard Jewell

I just watched the movie Richard Jewell by Clint Eastwood. It brought flashbacks to mind of a earlier time when my existence was clouded by work and duties and commuting to the point when I didn't even grasp much of what was going on in the world around me.

The 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta didn't interest me. As was my policy olympiads, stick games, ball games, team sports in general failed to capture my interest as they do so many others in my midst.

A venue there called Centennial Olympic Park was bombed by a criminal named Eric Rudolph who was ultimately convicted for a series of bombings across the southern United States between 1996 and 1998.

Richard Allensworth Jewell, who was born Richard White discovered a backpack containing three pipe bombs on the park grounds. He alerted law enforcement and helped evacuate the area before the bomb exploded, saving many people from injury or death.

While he was initially declared a hero the FBI in it's infinite wisdom and deep state complicity named Richard Jewell a suspect based on alleged "scientific profiling" and though he was never charged he was presumed guilty and suffered trial by media only to be cleared some 88 days later after the proceedings had pretty much ruined his life.

Just think, the FBI requires a 4 year degree just because some bulldog looking pervert transvestite homosexual in charge said so during the agency startup. Elitist far beyond their ability to perform ...

Much like the moron leadership of the city of columbia IT department.

The man was definitely done wrong by law enforcement and appeared on Saturday Night Live after his exhonoration.

He passed on August 29, 2007 from the sequela of undiagnosed diabetes. Another tragic tale of unrecognized heroism in our never ending quest to affix blame as quickly and easily as possible regardless of the truth of the matter.

It is a tragedy that we continue to fail to learn from past mistakes in an age where the left declares "right is wrong" and "wrong is right" and skewed notions of antifa and blm permeate our culture in their blatant stupidity. We don't seem to be learning from history.

Writer, librarian, Icon of my childhood

Well, I knew it would someday happen and I was sorry to read that my favorite childhood author, Beverly Cleary has passed at the young age of 104.

When I was in the naval hospital of the Boca Chica Naval Air Station at Key West, Florida recovering from an appendectomy my mama brought me a book called 'Ribsy' about a dog and his owner, Henry Huggins.

From that moment on I was a fan of Henry, Ramona Quimby, Beezus Quimby, Ralph S Mouse and the rest of the gang and I always thought her prose to be fresh and interesting.

Her first book was published 5 years prior to my birth in 1950. A somewhat exhaustive list follows below to illustrate that prolific work she did in the name of chidren and reading.

So here's to you, Beverly Cleary.

Yours was a career for the ages and there is no telling how many children you have enthralled over the years with your work.

Rest in peace.
