National Underwear Day 2024

Those few forays I made into boxers were totally unsatisfactory.
I'm afraid longhandles didn't float my boat either, not even in frigid weather.
I'm afraid the entire notion of a drop flap in the back was lost on me ... as IF.
Today is National Underwear Day.
It is held each August 5th since 2003 under the auspices of a brand called Freshpair.
Underwear is available in all manner of fabrics, styles, and colors and I dare say some of the choices I have seen draped across the butts of others has been the subject of protracted laughter on my part.
I simply don't see the need for some of these exotic color combinations I witness on occasion.
I found the gray and pink for men particularly offensive.
National Underwear Day celebrates all those boxers, briefs, sports bras, and even some swimming suits which may certainly pass as underwear if worn underneath your clothing.
It's a day for noting that which is concealed — unless you're one of these no class tactless idiots who feel the underwear should form a ring beneath the pants you ride low to the ground.
So get out there and celebrate those drawers !
