The 25th Amendment
choose your bomb

The democrats in their never ending abuse of power. The liars like Adam Schiff, the stupid crook bitch Nancy Pelosi, the cretin Chuckie Shumer pursued President Donald Trump unjustly throughout his term.

Stupid people let it happen. We have devolved into a society where right is wrong and wrong is right.

The leftist, progressive element of the United States is leading us to civil war. When it happens I hope they don't ask for mercy for none will be given. Die leftists, Die progressives, Die foreigners, Die democrats.

On this day in 1967 The 25th Amendment of the Constitution of the United States was ratified and has since suffered never ending abuse from the democrat party abuse.

This Amendment (Amendment XXV) deals with presidential succession and disability.

It specifies that the vice president becomes president if the president dies, resigns, or is removed from office, and establishes how a vacancy in the office of the vice president can be filled.

It provides for the temporary transfer of the president's powers and duties to the vice president, either on the initiative of the president alone or on the initiative of the vice president together with a majority of the president's cabinet. In either case, the vice president becomes acting president until the presidential powers and duties are returned to the president.

The amendment was submitted to the states on July 6, 1965, by the 89th Congress and was adopted on February 10, 1967, the day that the requisite number of states (38) had ratified it.

The democrats think they can manipulate the constitution to their own ends. They need to think again. Just like evey democrat on the planet they are a stupid group of individuals who should be rounded up and shoved up the ass of Katie Couric the marxist libtard bitch who thinks we need to be reprogrammed just because we're not stupid democrats like her.

Biden and Harris. Two crooked ass to the CORE democrats. Take your stupid pick America. You let the democrats steal the election and get away with it. We should be gathering them up right now and taking care of this mess they were allowed to create.

The Beatles appear on Sullivan in 1964

When I was 9 years old and living as a Navy brat in Virginia Beach, VA The Beatles first appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show.

They took the US musical scene by storm and opened up the musical tastes of the country for other British acts to follow. I recall all the fandom sold at the local drug store which I frequented during that time frame.

Now I had my 'beatles era' and during that time I enjoyed their music fairly well. Over the years the somewhat controversial nature of the members of the band in general became somewhat disconcerting.

Despite all of this I never acquired the disdain of some of the younger folks with whom I worked. Jessica from GIS was particularly venomous in her evaluation of them as both a talent and their stage worthiness ... but can you expect from a young lady who was into Avenged Sevenfold and mech/monster thing she found personally attractive.

This was never an issue between us for I have always been a proponent of 'to each their own' and I was quick to keep my personal opinions from her by and large.

So where there were four there are now two. I feel fortunate to have shared the experience with my contemporaries but alas, I cannot choose for others in my midst.

Mary, Queen of Scots beheaded in 1587
Mary Queen of Scots Death Mask
Mary, Queen of Scots is beheaded in Fotheringhay Castle for her alleged part in the conspiracy to usurp Elizabeth I.

The procedure was botched badly.

She was told she was to be executed on the seventh of February at Fotheringhay Castle.

Scaffolding with 2 or 3 steps was erected in the Great Hall and draped in black cloth.

It was furnished with a block, a cushion upon which she would kneel, and three stools for her and the earls of Shrewsbury and Kent, who were there to witness the execution.

The executioner Bull and his assistant knelt before her and asked forgiveness. She foregave them and requested they end all of her troubles.

Her servants, Jane Kennedy and Elizabeth Curle and the executioners helped Mary remove her outer garments, revealing a velvet petticoat and a pair of sleeves in crimson brown.

She was blindfolded by Kennedy with a white veil embroidered in gold, knelt down on the cushion in front of the block on which she positioned her head, and stretched out her arms.

Her final words were, In manus tuas, Domine, commendo spiritum meum ("Into thy hands, O Lord, I commend my spirit").

She was not beheaded with a single strike.

The first blow missed her neck and struck the back of her head.

The second blow severed the neck, except for a small bit of sinew, which the executioner cut through using the axe.

Afterwards, he held her head aloft and declared, "God save the Queen."

At that moment, the auburn wig she was wearing caused her head fell to the ground, revealing that Mary had very short, grey hair.

When news of the execution reached Queen Elizabeth, she became somewhat angry then asserted that Davison had disobeyed her instructions not to part with the warrant and that the Privy Council had acted outside of her authority.

Mary's request to be buried in France was refused by Elizabeth.

Her body was embalmed and left in a secured lead coffin until her burial in a Protestant service at Peterborough Cathedral in late July 1587.

Lackadaisical Lottery Play

So lately I find my lottery play lacking enthusiasm and determination ... carelessly lazy where as I was once fastidious and attentive to the weekly 'ritual' thereof.

While I played powerball yet again today yesterday I totally blew off megamillions (my preferred game) and I've even skipped several lucky for life plays in the recent past.

None of these missed plays were consequential. All I did was save a little cash.

Really and truly I'm having issues figuring out just why I should bother in a state with too few regular 'big game' players to get a good mix going in the results. Most of the people around here play "scratchers" ... I think some of them enjoy more winnings than I do.

I'm thinking playing either the NC or GA jurisdictions may be much better over the long haul. SC is mostly just a loser with very few exceptions. I have questioned the number picking software from the beginning.

SC Education Lottery

This habitual spending of $60 weekly has long been old and the returns are trivial to say the MOST.

Had I not been playing since 2002; had I not been playing essentially the same core numbers all this time; had I not stopped when the butt holes running those games changed the rules I likely would be better off.

So suffice it to say I will probably continue with this self persecution with this dildo called the sc education lottery.

It was began by a crook who took over as a former legislator. SC should rename itself 'cronies are us'. It has been handed off to several sets of subseqent dullards to run the thing. I don't reallty trust the game's implementation due to the unsavory management it has suffered from incept.

Alas, who is the duller dullard. The one running or the one playing the stupid game?

It's Morgan Fairchild's Birthday
    Morgan Fairchild
Aw, she's one of those women my generation has coveted as someone of desire and yes ... I have indulged

Simply eat up with all the cutness God had to spare !

She was born Patsy Ann McClenny February 3, 1950 and became an actress who graced primarily television beginning in soaps.

Anyway my personal favorite performance of hers is a cameo on Two and a half Men where she is at the local airport lounge where Alan took Charlie in an effort to make him feel less old and feeble.

The sexual innuendo was hilarious and I have actively sought this episode and clips thereof as a matter of personal interest.

Anyway she is quite the lovely and funny lady who has entertained me to the nth degree without knowing me from Adam's housecat.

The Feast of Saint Geminianus
The Feast of Saint Geminianus Saint Geminianus, aka Saint Geminian, or Saint Gimignano was a fourth-century deacon who became Bishop of Modena.

He is mentioned in the year 390, when he sent a delegate named Aper to participate in a council called by Saint Ambrose in Milan. From his name, it is conjecture that Geminianus likely belonged to the caste of Roman senators.

Nothing more is directly known about him.

That which we do know is derived from biographies written much later in time.

It is said that when a Saint named Athanasius was entering exile in France, he passed through Modena and was received kindly by Geminianus. This same hospitality was afforded to Saint John Chrysostom. Saint Geminianus opposed Arianism and Jovinianism.
Arianism

Ar·i·an·ism
/ˈerēəˌnizəm/

noun from Christian Theology

an influential heresy denying the divinity of Christ, originating with the Alexandrian priest Arius ( c. 250– c. 336). Arianism maintained that the Son of God was created by the Father and was therefore neither coeternal with the Father, nor consubstantial.
Jovinianism

A heresy that Shocked the Church.

Jovinian was an ascetic monk in the fourth century who although he lived the ascetic life himself came to believe that there was little purpose in perpetual virginity or taking the vows of chastity.

Jovinian’s Life and Conclusions

Jovinian lived a profoundly ascetic life which included infrequent washing, eating only the simplest and least amounts of food possible and of course! avoiding ay interactionwith women. Over time, however, in Jovinians study of the Scriptures he came to believe that all baptised men and women were able to reach an equal level of holiness. And that in fact according to the New Testament Gospel of Matthew New and the Old Testament book Genesis all mankind had been called to marriage and procreation. Along with these views which he held he came to the conclusion that abstention from alcoholic substances or living a life of extreme vegetarianism produced no benefit whatever Jovinian was condemned by Pope Siricius and excommunicated from the Roman Catholic Church many Christians followed him anyway which brought on criticism from St Jerome and St Augustine. St Jerome had some pretty radical views himself, believing that all sexual intercourse was unclean. Heresy and the Early Church Fathers St Jerome in particular was one of the early Church.
St Geminianus
He likely died on January 31, 397.

Aspects of his veneration have always been present in Modena.

As early as the fifth century a church had been erected over his tomb, contiguous with the present cathedral and outside the center of the original Roman town.

In the early Middle Ages, moreover, Modena is often mentioned as Civitas Geminiana.

The Relatio translationis S. Giminiani, a manuscript of the twelfth century, describes the translation and recognition of the body of Saint Geminianus on 30 April 1106 and 7 October 1106, respectively, in the presence of Paschal II, Matilde di Canossa, and all of the Modenesi. A second recognition of the relics was made by Lucius III, on 12 July 1184, while on his way to Verona.

The people of Modena believe his miraculous intercession saved them from the invading Huns, when he conjured up dense fog that hid the city.

Geminianus rarely appears in art outside of Modena, but when shown is typically depicted as a bishop holding a mirror in which the Mary is reflected; a bishop holding a model of the town of Modena; a man calming a storm at sea; or a man exorcising the daughter of the Byzantine emperor Jovian.

He is also venerated in Tuscany, especially in the eponymous town of San Gimignano, and in Pontremoli. A Church of St Geminianus opposite St Mark's Basilica, in Venice's Piazza San Marco, was demolished in 1807 as part of the reorganisation of the west side of the square during the Napoleonic era.

Data Privacy Day 2021
    Cyber Key
When you become a netizen and maintain live web and email servers to spec you become cognizant of all the exploit attempts cast your way by little dirtbags either colocating or on some linux box on a linode farm among other venues.

Yes you get to find out just how much they don't care if their customerbase exploits you for their own ends and as a result there tends to be contempt for them and retaliation for their subnets.

Yes, this is me. Just as soon firewall you and engage every security mechanism I have toward keeping some scum exploit punk out of my stuff. Fortunately, the casual server operator doesn't have the wherewithall NOT to attack a domain calling itself 'crackerjackdata'.

Therefore my firewall and my security protocols runneth over.

Here's to kicking you in the cyber nuts often and hard.

Hello. January 28 is Data Privacy Day aka known as Data Protection Day in Europe. It is an international event that occurs every year on this date.

The purpose of Data Privacy Day is to raise awareness and promote privacy and data protection best practices. It is currently observed in the United States, Canada, Israel and 47 European countries.

I don't care about Europe's spin on this although they are much more proactive in this regard of protection of resources.

If you're not in my service area I'd just as soon firewall or block you as look at you. My stuff is for those whom I choose to provide access. The stupid EU, muslim states, gd Iran, and Russia will never qualify the way things are going.

Domestic access doesn't get very far either. Got wise to domestic ISPs selling bandwith to foreign scum long ago.

You can have your very own firewall rule blocking you and every one else on your subnet at the drop of a hat. Play me.

André the Giant
Andre the Giant

Andre the Giant was a television curiosity for me during my 'wrestling saturday' heyday over at Mortimo Gleaton's house in Perry, SC sitting there with him and his son (my friend) Ricky during high school.

I really enjoyed those times because I thought it all was real I wanted to believe.

Yes there was a time I didn't feel that wrestling was mostly theatrics and that the personalities and athletes were anything other than blood thirsty hand to hand combat fighters to the end.

And yes, when they applied for membership to the actors guild it was just ... heartbreaking for me. I was so naieve.

Andre the Giant was born André René Roussimoff on May 19, 1946. He passed from congestive heart failure in his sleep on January 27, 1993 but during his lifetime he was quite a character to behold.

Standing around seven feet tall from pituitary giantism we loomed above many in his presence. I never got over the theatrics part of it all and lost interested in wrestling so by the time Cyndi Lauper and the rest of the "mostly show business" individuals took over I had been moved on for years.

He was an actor in his own right and I was sad when I learned he had passed away. However, pop culture never having been my forte I was unable to dwell on those things as I was pursuing matters of work and simply had no time outside my 80 hour work week. However, I would always take pause to view some televised tidit about André René Roussimoff, a gentle giant of a man who lived his life to the fullest.

Our Trans Freak in Healthcare

As if the current administration couldn't be more incompetent we now have a assistant secretary for health at the US Department of Health and Human Services who is a man who thinks that he is a woman.

    Richard

This trans turdbird will oversee the departmental key public health offices and programs, numerous presidential and secretarial advisory committees, 10 regional health offices across the nation, the Office of the Surgeon General and the US Public Health Service Commissioned Corps.

Just what we need. Another democrat freak in the mix screwing things up with their leftist libtard preoccupation with deviant behavior and desires to take down The Republic.

Stupid, inept and demented leadership thy name is Joe Biden and the rest of the know nothing, do nothing, election stealing democratic party.

This freak, Richard "Rachel" Levine was hand picked by the democrat buffoons who, as foretold in the Holy Bible, have declared that everything right is wrong and everything wrong is right.

The stupid Biden Administration has elevated this sick bird in the hopes of more acceptance which likely will never come.

This fellow has an XY (male) genotype and presents himself in a female (XX) phenotype and I think the world would be much better off without any of these sick individuals walking among us. Gender dysphoria, that feeling that an XY (male) person is an XX (female) person or that an XX (female) person is an XY (male) person is a mental illness. It just raises the spectre of sexual perversion to me.

I suffer from the mental illness that I should have been provided with a fifteen inch penis. This guy suffers from the mental illness that he is in actuality a woman despite his XY genotype. Neither of us will ever get what we believe should be reality.
This leaves a general population the bulk of whom will never become as idiotic and scientifically incorrect as the democrats and their sexually deviant consituents and I will NEVER use preferred pronouns and those who hazard a requirement may live to regret it immediately.

He has two children who get to know they are the products of conception of a mindfart miscreant daddy who thinks he is a woman and his wife has already divorced him ... go figure.

Where are Ann Coulter's death squads when we REALLY need them.

Larry King, rest in peace
Larry King

Journalist Larry King passed on January 23, 2021 at age 87.

He was born Lawrence Harvey Zeiger on November 19, 1933 and became an American television and radio host,as well as a paid spokesman winning awards including two Peabodys, an Emmy award, and 10 Cable ACE Awards.

His journalistic career began in the 1950s through the 1960s in Florida where he did journalism and radio interviews. This progressed through the Larry King Show on the Mutual Broadcasting System in 1978, a radio gig where people nationwide would call in all night.

Having held many third shift work assignments in my day I encounterd him periodically while listening the the radio and performing my duties.

He also had a nightly interview television program called Larry King Live on CNN. I don't know how he was able to maintain any sense of journalistic integrity in such a fake news lying company manipulative dirtbag such as CNN ... but he did.

He wound up on Larry King Now which was a part of the streaming television markets and Politicking with Larry King which he hosted til his death last Saturday.

Larry King married eight times to seven women. He was briefly married to a lady named Annette Kaye who gave birth to his namesake, Larry King, Jr whom he did not meet until he was in his 30s.

He suffered heart disease and a major heart attack as well as two strokes, each of which left him in comas for weeks.

On January 23, 2021, he died at the age of 87 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He was the last living vestiage of journalistic integrity who ever worked at CNN.

Rest in peace.

Unity My Ass

The sitting president whose party stole the election for him had the audacity to present a public message requesting 'unity'.

Excuse me, but I have no 'unity' for a crook and his son and the evil vice president set into office by the same criminal behavior.

While the two traitorous republicrat senators from South Carolina chose abandonment over right and were so quick to jump into the arms of their democrat cohorts the vast majority of the true conservatives aren't surrendering ... and we're not forgetting either.

See if you ever get my vote again Lindsey Graham traitor swine.

The Biden crime family in which all members by and large participated in ill-gotten gains involving China and Russia at the expense of the US taxpayer get to sit around and loot the government even more because the stupid democrats chose to place this thief into office via a stolen election.

Firing Squad by Richard9311 on deviantart
Firing Squad by Richard9311 on deviantart

Those who claim the evidence isn't there are making excuses for their sorry showing in this mess of a federal election. Where were the checks and balances to prevent such criminal behavior on the part of a criminal organization such as the democratic party.

The Bidens, the Obamas, the Clintons, Shumer, Schiff, Pelosi, and the squad as well as the two so-called republican senators from South Carolina and Katie Couric's stupid ass should have all been gathered up and thrown against a wall for a firing squad and instead we're being told to give this crook and his cronys 'unity'.

Hold your dementia laden breath scumbag. I decline to yield.

Daniel Pearl was Murdered while doing his job
    Daniel Pearl

On this day in 2002 US journalist Daniel Pearl was kidnapped in Karachi, Pakistan. His employer was the Wall Street Journal.

He was subsequently murdered by beheading on February 1, 2002 at the age of 38.

I recall my outrage but was still reeling from the recent passing of my biological father and really was not able to devote the thought and study to his situation that I normally might engage.

Daniel Pearl was born on October 10, 1963 and passed in a horrid fashion at the hands of Pakistani terrorists on February 1, 2002.

He was was the South Asia Bureau Chief of The Wall Street Journal, based in Mumbai, India.

He was kidnapped while investigating the links between Al-Qaeda and Richard Reid, the dullard British citizen and alleged 'shoe bomber'.

Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh, a Pakistani British citizen, was sentenced to death by hanging for Pearl's abduction and murder in 2002 but his conviction was overturned by a Pakistani court in the summer of 2020.

In March 2007 Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, a member of Al-Qaeda, claimed that he had personally beheaded Pearl during interrogation at a closed military hearing in Guantanamo Bay.

Investigators have also connected one Saif al-Adel, an Al-Qaeda member with the kidnapping.

Scant Memories of Telly Savalas
Telly Savalas

When I was a kid there was Lt Theo Kojak on an eponymous police show which was widely popular during that time. Such shows didn't really attract me with my penchant for the Astroboy, Batman, Superman, and other super hero and technological fantasy offerings I preferred, but Telly Savalas was certainly a force in which to contend back in those days.

Some of his other exploits as decribed in various fluff pieces of the day were somewhat disconcerting ... but I think that was largely a function of my gender and NO I didn't think his penchant for performing with a sucker in his mouth to be all that.

Born Aristotelis Savalas on January 21, 1922 was an actor and singer whose career spanned four decades. He was totally bald which was uncommon as far as characteristics of actors went in the day. He had a baritone voice which was deep and resonant and this may account for a following of his singing he enjoyed.

He even charted at number 1 in Great Britain with a cover of the Bread song 'IF' in the year 1975.

Still, though he had a wide range of character portrayals over the years, it was Lt Theo Kojak I remember him for, because that was primarily how I encountered his art.

Telly Savalas did a hitch in the army serving from 1941-43 in the 4th Medical Training Regiment during World War II. He was awarded a purple heart medal during that time.

He passed away on January 22, 1994 at age 72 from complications of genitourinary carcinoma.

All in all he deserves a much larger space in my memories and recollections, but his heyday as it were was a most difficult period in my life. Thusly, my memories are much less than they might be otherwise.

Rest in peace.

Audience Limitations
I have been advised that I firewall a lot of people who wish to gain access to my assets on the web.

These few have indicated that "public facing" should not include firewalling of those seeking access.

WHell ... I beg to differ. Once you are caught in the logs attempting to exploit my assets from the web the subnet upon which you operate gets a CIDR level block in my firewall.

This means you and any others on the same subnet from which you attempted exploit cannot get to the assets anymore.

Though it is not a "policy" per se I do not usually remove a block unless the offending party contacts me and explains themselves.

Even then restoring access is a highly conditional affair recorded in desktop lists and can be revoked at the drop of a hat.

    another firewall ...

So no, I am not one with whom to trifle when it comes to my stuff and your exploits. The only people not automatically and immediately firewalled upon the first exploit are those in my service area.

They receive additional "consideration" in the form of me contacting their ISPs and upon my review will either be firewalled or not and I'm not sitting here on pins and needles fearing any exploits because I have multilayered security protocols in place where if the firewall dosen't get you the other things will.

People in general are welcome here. Those without access share a subnet with a purveyor of exploits. I'm not in the business of tracking down the various avenues available to an individual attempting exploit. I check the network parameters and all IP addresses they may engage are gone. Just like that.

These 'colocation' anuses are the most fun. They don't think I won't backtrace every connection when I will.

I even firewall entire ASIN groups when I feel it's indicated. If you're not in my service area you are not significant to my existence unless you make yourself so. I will open the firewall upon request and deal with exploits from that subnet separately.
