World Vegan Day a yearly celebration by vegans around the world each November first.

They tout those benefits to be had from a life of veganism for humans and as they cascade through various non-human animals as well as the environment.

This event is the brainchild of one Louise Wallis and was first marked in 1994 during her tenure as Chair of The Vegan Society in the United Kingdom commemorating the 50th anniversary of that organization's founding.

The terms "vegan" and "veganism" are specifically celebrated.
