World Post Day 2023

It's World Post Day and time to think about the mail and it's delivery to your home address.

Postal mail isn't the electronic form like email but it's just as important. There are things which are better not sent over email and you really can't email a package.

Each October 9 we recognize this communication method and the establishment of the Universal Postal Union in 1874 which aided in the coordination of mail traversing sites internationally.

Communications would be much more difficult in the absence of the postal services of the world which route letters and packages to all the people of the internationally.

It's a lovely day to send a card or letter and enjoy the benefits of postal services.
