World Plant Milk Day 2026

I embarked on consuming nut milk comparatively recently.
I think it is due to what I perceive to be a late development of lactose intolerance but it really doesn't matter.
I enjoy the almond milk products in particular and prefer them in cereal and for drinking.
Today is World Plant Milk Day.
It is observed annually each August 22nd in the name of promoting plant based milk alternatives and promote a dairy free lifestyle.
It's one of those personal preference which makes me more on the "quirky" side of the social equation than not.
Some of my colleagues and friends resist the change to nut milk products and I don't really have an opinion on the matter as it pertains to others.
I am happy with my choice for me. I am not concerned otherwise.
