I have always viewed conservation as a significant issue in our day and times.
This is why when I went to Peachtree Rock in the Edmund community of Lexington County, South Carolina I was disturbed to see someone actively cutting the bottom of the coral formation with a hand saw in a persistent attempt to permanently damage it.
This went on for a very long time without intervention by the SC Nature Conservancy — which I now view as a piss poor steward of our natural resources that should be disbanded for their lack of concern.
Boo lamers. This action of an insipid inbred vandal involved the deliberate destruction of or damage to public property and for all appearances you were totally indifferent.
The effects were the toppling of Peachtree Rock.
The SC Nature Conservancy simply allowed it to happen with indifference and ignoring the situation.
Today is World Nature Conservation Day.
It is held each July 28 annually in the name of preserving a healthy environment and natural resources.
All I can say is the SC Nature Conservancy is not concerned with managing our natural resources and should be abolished.
