World Listening Day 2026
I have experienced a touch of deafness in my right ear. Sometimes it is worse sometimes it is better. The audiophile in me views this as a tragedy.Today is World Listening Day.
It is organized by the World Listening Project and celebrates the art of actively listening to the sounds of the environment.

Through various events and initiatives, it encourages individuals worldwide to engage with and reflect upon the soundscape around them.
As Covey said so long ago it not enough to understand, but also be understood.
It all begins with listening.
