Today is World Facilities Management Day.
It is observed annually on the Wednesday of the second full week of May.
That would make it May 13 of this year under the auspices of an organization known as Global FM and notes that essential work of facility managers internationally environments safe, healthy, and sustainable by those who manage building services, their maintenance, security, and impact on daily life.
On this day we recognize facility management professionals impact on health, safety, productivity, and sustainability in workplaces, schools, and hospitals as well as other environs placed into the people's service.
It is held in the name of ensuring buildings are safe, efficient, and comfortable.
So drop those drawers and let a load fly.
