Winter Weather Fizzle

I awoke this morning to find that reports that fueled my anticipation were highly exaggerated and that indeed we were wet with rain but that appeared to be it.
Some others in the state may experience patchy snow, sleet, and other precip but my expectations for this morning were certainly the results of some overly cautious weather forecaster.
Some of my cohorts at work were expecting worse. We got nothing.
Such is the way of the weather in the deep south ...
And while my "disappointment" likewise is quite exaggerated I am content to go about my business dodging the cold raindrops as is more typical for the winter weather around here.
