I have had ample practice over the years and have been known to be fully versed on the topic of lady loves and have even been known to pursue good times on occasion.
Today is Wife Appreciation Day.
It is observed on the third Sunday of September which makes it on Sunday, September 20 this year.
It is an unofficial holiday to thank wives for their love, support, and hard work.
I personally view it as a day to recognize the role because I have penchant for pampering my ladies and they have learned to expect such over the years.
A special focus of the day is recognizing women who do not have children, balancing out family-centric holidays like Mother's Day. It is an appropriate activity from my perspective.
It provides oppertuniuty to step away from daily routines and chores.
I like to go out for a nice meal and walk around the riverwalk on occasion. I am not above cooking her favorite breakfast in bed or engaging in any manner of cooked dinner at home.
I am also to take a suprise outing at the drop of a hat. Particularly when I plan to bestow those appropriate baubles during the day.
I hope you take this opportunity because it will provide a mechanism of personal growth and bonding to whomever your personal lady love might be.
