When is it time to stop playing the lottery

The extreme waste of funds incurred as the result of seeking those ill gotten gains from gambling are detrimental to your finances far and wide WHEN you fail to win
Oh the humanity of seeking that which hasn't and likely will never arrive.
I remember in the beginning back in 2002 when I thought I would win the lottery.
Well, it's 24 years later and I've never won ANYTHING substantial ...
I believe it's time to just suck it up and stop playing this loser which is the SC Educational Lottery. I don't care what kind of scholarships they provide. I'm not in it to support some school child. A child's education should fall solely to the parent first and foremost.
I'm in it for myself. Personal winnings. Riches beyond my wildest dreams. Only because it's my money in play and it's steadily proving to be wasted more and more with each successive year.
While I have cut back I am only now considering full cessation.
