Weiner's Weenie
In the threads yet again we have the tumolt of Anthony Weiner and his compulsion to circulate too intimate a photo or two in his electronic messages.An interesting item on cnet.com reports that a new study from Indiana University seems to indicate that sexting happens by some 25% of people and I am pretty much bumfuzzled to ascertain the reasons behind this trend toward risque behaviors in the new media.
They are quick to point out that there is nothing you can do to prevent proliferation of your privates on the part of anyone to whom you might send a photo.
The "Send" button determines just how much of the equation remains in your control.
The study also is indicative of the poor judgement — er or could it simply be 'braggadocio' that our fellow people participating in various email and SMS modalities based on the numbers having their genitals on various internet servers all over.
I'm glad that I'm more bashful than this. Shoot, I suppose if I had a package to brag about I'd be right out there getting into trouble with so many others.
HOWEVER, this is certainly not the case, thank gawd.
Those consequences to family and self are simply too great to risk on repetitive indiscretion.
