There is a philosophic vantage known as "dudeism" whereby "The Dude" from a movie called The Big Lebowski allegedly imparts spiritual guidance for the masses.
Never having seen "The Big Lebowski" I may attest that this is not a particular motivation in my religion, lifestyle, philosophy, nor anything else.
Also, I do not find the Chinese philosophy of Lao-tzu advocating humility and religious piety particularly motivating as well; so that Taoist bent escapes me right along with everything else about the movie.
Perhaps I've simply missed more than I should have during my activities of daily living ... but about the only 'dude' thing in my life are Dude Wipes.
I buy these little gems to carry around with me for that totally fresh feeling thoughtout the day and they don't offer anything in the way of philosophical advantage nor religious inclination ...
All they provide ia a significantly less heinous anus at those times they are invoked.
