This was a Latin document submitted to Pope Pope John XXII declaring Scotland a sovereign state with the right to use military force if attacked.
Locally, a celebration called Tartan Day South is held at the Columbia Speedway in Cayce, SC.
This event has just transpired and consisted of games, speakers, and various shows held at venues in and around the city.
As for me, I celebrate in spirit but I'm afraid my days of engaging in the rather robust games of strength the celebration entails is rather beyond me at this stage of the game.
I wear the tartan of the Johnston clan.
