I have seen feats and abilities of the so-called 'disabled' that surpass a lot of we who are not considered disabled at all.
Today we observe Superhuman Day.
Each September 7th we honor those amazing persons around the world who are faced with the challenges of disability and rise above them with apparent ease.
Superhuman Day also celebrates and brings recognition to the hundreds of athletes, artists, musicians, and normal people who have overcome what was once recognized as a limitation of disability and went on to prove that they can do anything required.
Celebrate Superhuman Day by interacting with disabled people. Bestow your support upon any and every disabled individual you encounter.
There are far worse things than being there for another human being.
