Stupid Web Presence
I take a lot of hits regarding my minimal web presence on my business card and hobby/social media sites. The crux of the issue is their beginnings juxtaposed against their evolutions ... which while transpiring presently are not evident because of implementations which are "back end" and not yet on the public facing network.Case in point: I have been looking for a person to trim trees in the local area and have pursued candidates via search engines and have to say that the web presence of this particular group leaves much to be desired.
It's either way too much or too little and the presentations are vastly cookie cutter creations by some company selling the same thing all over.
My point being that if your web presence is the exact duplicate of your competition's with nothing other than the exchange of contact information you're all disqualified.
You dopes with these ridiculous flowery nothings or facebook substitutions can take a hike too.
Then there are those other HVAC idiots who think that a person who hosts their web site needs to take care of all their "seo" needs. First of all, if you're working in seo you're a shister out to relieve the stupid of their fundage. I spoke to a young lady who thought that seo was the "be all" and the "end all" of web presence — and naturally she called herself a practioner as a career.
What a load of crap. If you want higher listings in the search engines one of three things must transpire:

2. You inspire the world by hook or crook.
3. Or you pay for it.
The so-called "organic" search engine is just a watered down fragment of what google used to be before it became the whore of the internet.
You pretty much buy your position in the search engines unless you appeal to the world enmass. Good luck with that too.
Anyway this stupid skill-less girl really did think she was an up and coming marketing star to be the nothing she is in reality.
All of this points to that reality which is the consequences of monopolies being allowed there. The demise of internet neutrality at the hand of Trump's nasty ass FCC indian may at least provide for trickle down economics despite the googles, the facebooks, the youtubes, and all the other bad things out there stifling the world with their overpowering control based stink.
Needless to say I'll probably be talking an old friend into handling my arborist needs because the lameness of the web presence in the local market is stifling and really ... how much money do we have to shove into the facade which is seo ?
