Social Media Day 2026

Attempting to decide on where I lost my need to be some constant gadfly in the lives of netizens everywhere.
Suffice it to say that I simply lack the interest in others to get out there and participate.
Yes, though Social Media Day takes place internationally each June 30 under the auspices of Mashable since 2010 I prefer to be left to my own devices. My friends say "But you blog" and yes, I do.
The difference is I don't live to share it with anyone on the earth preferring solitude to celebrating the revolutionary impact of digital platforms on global communication, culture, and business. So get out there and social medialize your self as much as you choose. I'll remain here silent in the background. Those I choose read the blog. Others may or may not if they have access. I don't seek approval nor participation.
