Social Media Day 2024

I have never been a twitter/x member. I have never facebooked. I have never myspaced. I have never had any desire to join the chinese communist tiktok fray. It's all too pretentious and I simply do not tolerate much in the way of exploits in the name of social interaction.
Today is Social Media Day.
Ostensibly it's a recognition of that impact social media has on society. Aside from the various pockets of resisting individuals I suppose that's basically true. I just feel that some take it entirely too seriously. When social media attacks can have people killing themselves I feel that there was a distinct lack of parental intervention and guidance.
Yeah, I maintain my own social media server. It includes various sketches and things I choose to share. I have a blog and it too is available to any and all who do not attempt exploits.
Unfortunately, so many have no desire to access my assets aside from exploitation and this has resulted in a very healthy set of firewall rules and countermeasure scripting of my own design.
I dare say that it took all the fun out of it for me personally.
So should you find yourself a member of X more power to you. If you rumble go for it vigorously. There are so many outlets from which to choose. Try to itemfix or bitchute for the right reasons. Personal enjoyment is the only reason I ever go there.
