Intolerance raised it's ugly head once again resulting in murder.
There were twenty people senselessly murdered and many more injured at a Walmart located at Cielo Vista Mall in El Paso, Texas.
Those victims ranged from a two year old through an 82 year old and the underlying tragedy continues to grow as details continue to be revealed.
The perp is identified as one Patrick Crusius, a 21 native of Allen Texas who was taken into custody without incident on charges of capital murder.
The feds are investigating the incident as domestic terrorism and it appears as if he did indeed attack with intent on "coercing and intimidating a civilian population".
Hate crimes and federal fireams charges against Crusius are under consideration and they carry the death penalty if convicted.
All of this goes down a scant 15 hours before yet another gun toting psycho killed 9 and wounded several dozen in Dayton Ohio.
Crusius pretty much spilled his guts regarding motivations and ended up telling investigators he was out to shoot as many Mexicans as possible according to law enforcement.
Officials described the confiscation of an "assault type" rifle with several magazine. However, these identifications are quite a bit off frequently anymore and I await more information before I believe this particular assertion.
Now officials in Mexico claim that they will take "legal action" regarding this incident as if that's supposed to be meaningful or helpful at all.
The bottom line is these sick individuals and criminals in general are always able to obtain any weapons they may afford and gun control laws are never going to prevent this.
Besides, you're more likely to get killed by either a cartel member or the police in Mexico anyway.
That introspection of my harsh thoughts for Mexico and Mexicans are tempered with tragedies such as this.
For all my posturing and rants I would never hurt anyone I didn't think was actively trying to hurt me ... I'll bet the victims here were taken by surprise as well.
Active shooter needs to be a training course for Walmart employees anymore. Even that may not prevent such terrible tragedies such as this El Paso massacre.
I hope the victims and their families find whatever comfort may be had and that the perpetrator is dealt with swiftly and severely in accordance with the law.
