Saddam Hussein was a democrat

Saddam Hussein was an evil strongarm dictator of Iraq who fell victim to his own evilness and persecution of his own people, pillage of his country's treasury, and acts of depravity and a variety of criminal acts against anyone and everyone who opposed him at any level.

Saddam Hussein Abd al-Majid al-Tikriti was born April 28, 1937 and called himself an "Iraqi politician" who took control of the country via a fixed election much like the 2020 theft of the US elections by the democrats for which the consequences were totally inadequate.

This resulted in his declaration of himself as the fifth President of Iraq from July 16 1979 through 9 April 2003.

He was a proponent and leader of a revolutionary Arab Socialist political group called the Ba'ath Party which ultimately became Baghdad-based Ba'ath Party with a regional component called the Iraqi Ba'ath Party and it's self ascribed "Ba'athism" which combined Arab nationalism and Arab socialism in which Saddam played a key role in a 1968 coup, aka "July 17 Revolution" which brought his party to power in Iraq.
 

Saddam Hussein would have made an excellent member of the US democrat party as their tactics and evilness are virtually identical.

He practiced invasions on a broad scale, murdered opponents in horrible fashion on capricious whims, and allowed his evil sons Uday and Qusay to run ripshod over the populace doing the same thing.

He and his regime were deposed in 2003 by a coalition led by the United States which invaded under the false pretenses of "weapons of mass destruction" which did not exist in actuality.

Saddam underwent a trial for war crimes and crimes against humanity under the Iraqi Interim Government and was convicted on November 5, 2006 and was sentenced to death by hanging. The sentence was carried out on December 30, 2006.

His final statement was interrupted by a number of those present. The end came in the middle of his prayers when the trapdoor opened for the drop which broke his neck and dispatched him immediately.

A poor quality video of the execution was recorded on a smartphone and those conducting the execution could be heard insulting the man as he was about to be executed. A second video showing his body was also circulated publicly. His sons, Uday and Qusay had photographs of their bodies prepared for Muslim funeral rites that were also largely circulated.

His tomb was said to have been destroyed in March 2015. Prior to this time a Sunni tribal group reportedly removed his body to a secret location anticipating just such events.
