Retro Day 2025

I am a thoroughly modern man with modern tastes and state of the art implementations I maintain in my server cluster such that I am a fan of redundancy and servers with failover above all else these days.
The retrospect of the past has been reviewed over the years in books or experience and the way things were interests me less as time progresses.
Today is Retro Day.
It is celebrated each February 27 since 2018 under the auspices of Hermelinda Aguilar, Robert Duran, and Tina Duran.
My primary interest in it is it marks the rapidly approaching end of negro history month and that stupidity the blacks have brought upon us with their incessant whining for reparations they will never get and the fact that the Dutch bought them from black slave traders in Africa then brought them here as slaves.
Then there is the stupid notion taken among the indigineous crackers who naturally thought in error their stupid asses were somehow superior.
In essence, the term itself originated in 1972 to describe new remnants that that refer to particular techniques, modes, motifs, and materials of the past.
Please. You may keep the past. Aside from the memories I have no further designs upon it.
So happy Retro Day to you. Should you enjoy engaging elements of the past for whatever reason I think it's wonderful. The fact that I choose not to is absolutely no reflection on your choice.
