Restoring all Firewall Rules
Well ... I was hoping this would not be necessary; but I have been driven to restoring all my old firewall rules to keep the riff raff out.Evidence for scraping and exploit attempts have proven to be more than I care to track this closely so ...
I copied the old rules set from the backup and restored them to the new cluster.
The timeframe was minute compared to the last rebuild on the old cluster. Something on the order of 45 minutes compared to three days before.
The new equipment is zooming.
This will pick up most of the data centers where the bulk of the problem lay.
This is a a shame. Shameful people deserve shameful actions.
