It was "Plan B". When "Plan A" didn't work out I was lucky to have a backup plan in place.
I have run the gamut from PL/1 through the xBase dialects and with the advent of web technologies I took the cgi "non windoze" route and there I have remained until now.
People sometimes remark that I make an unlikely "web guy" because I'm not eighteen years old.
Today is Programmer's Day; a professonal holiday in celebration of coders originating in Russia and held on the 256th day of the year.
Technology with it's computers and software enable just about everything else so pay a little respect to we who make the machines do our bidding.
There are worse roads to take in life.
