My time of year commences around the end of October for as far back as I can remember. I recall the excitement of Halloween in Blackfoot, Idaho — the ghost costume my mom made for me ... and the general crisp cool temperatures I found to be so invigorating.
Since that time the commencement of the holidays around Halloween have been my favorite time of the year ... and I would like to add this has been numerous Halloweens, too.

The Farmer's Almanac has made claims that this year's winter will be one of the coldest on record. This has piqued my interest in that the last few snows were so dismally unproductive that I could not believe that I was told not to report for work.
