My mother always referred to the officers of the law as "my friend".
I would never choose to defund or otherwise impede the police in upholding the law.
The democrats in general have been such buffoons over their inability to support those who uphold the law.
However one look at the lawfare of New York directed at Donald Trump and the contempt they hold for the law is obvious.
Today is Peace Officers Memorial Day.
It is observed each May 15 in tribute to the brave local, state, and federal officers of the law who have been killed or been disabled in the line of duty.
It is a function of Police Week and is marked with observances in various states.
It began in 1963 with a bill signed by President John F Kennedy before the democrats murdered him.
