Two of my favorite flavors are orange and lemon.
The Brits celebrate these two fruits on the third Thursday of each year; making it March 16 this year.
Oranges and Lemons Day is a church celebration referring to an old nursery rhyme about the bells of churches around London.
The celebration has had several iterations with the distribution of these fruits except during wartime when rationing prevented the inclusion of lemons.
All in all if you like a safe little observance which doesn't hurt and only helps Oranges and Lemons Day is for you.
This tradition continues in London despite the invasion of their lands by people seeking to take them over and replace their traditions with muslim observances.
