That stupid leftist libtard idiocy so characteristic of the public education system raised it's ugly head again in Orlando when a six year old was restrained with wire tie handcuffs and hauled off from school for allegedly 'kicking and punching' and other childlike mannerisms children undertake in their lack of experience and worldly comportment.
This happened at her Orlando Charter School.
The arresting officer indicated that this measure was "not what you think" implying a gentle handling of the child offender.
Why didn't they arrest the incompetent school staff as well.
While I'm fine with school discipline this notion that a child can be arrested and hauled off from school in this manner speaks volumes for both the ineptitude of educators in general and that lack of judgment proliferating in juvenile justice as well.
Those frustrations associated with unruly children may indeed drive an adult to distraction ... but when we devolve to a society which casually arrests and hauls off six year olds in the name of juvenile justice our system is beyond broken.
All I'm saying is when I was six, though I likely would not have kicked or punched I certainly might have cried and carried on in a similar manner and placing wire tie handcuffs on me would have made the situation much worse at this point in my life when I would have been out to enact revenge with extreme prejudice.
How you treat a child in school is a determining factor in that type of adult they become. I am living proof that public education is the biggest mistake perpetrated on the children of the US.
This child should have been sent home, not to jail. I hope the kid's grandma sues and wins.
