Last week I performed the Windows 10 reset in accordance with Microsoft instructions because some of my networking was proving quite unreliable.
After said reset procedure things quickly devolved into a never ending stream of disfunctional networking with reboot failures and never ending disk write attempts and so forth and so on.
Briefly, I had thought my router might be crapping out and considered going out and getting another ...
However, upon downloading the current driver set for my workstation from the manufacturer's support site and installing them, voila !
All problems immediately abated.
Now then, while I was originally under the impression that the drivers in device manager were optimal this simply is not the case by a long shot.
I keep wondering just why Microsoft would not tend to this technical business any better than the sorry show they exhibit.
Methinks it's because they have risen to their level of incompetence and they simply can't do any better.
Be all of this as it may the buck stops with me because I was aware of the presence of factory supplied drivers and I'm normally not one to rely on ANYTHING as frequently unsuitable as Microsoft or those who tout their product lines.
The moral of the story is you need to provision yourself with adequate skills and not rely on some unskilled vendor to protect your interests when they can't.
