Today my nephew installed 4 new ceiling fans in my house.
The old ones were knocking 30 years old and the new ones are a vast improvement from a standpoint of function and contemporary features and design.
In two rooms he installed the Harbor Breeze Hawkesbury.
In the other two rooms he installed the Hunter Khamsin.
I was originally looking to install 4 Hunter Dempseys but their availability was problematic.
The company lost half of the business for this reason.
Everything is brushed nickel finish which suits me fine.
The smaller fans by Harbor Breeze circulate the air well ... and won't be overworked because none of the rooms in my house are very large ... I just have a lot of them.
The bigger fans by Hunter circulate the air even better such that you can feel the breeze and they too are not in rooms that are all that spacious — just larger.
So as time inevitably proceeds, if I get another 30 years out of these like I did the ones they replaced then someone else will likely have to handle that next installation whenever it may be in the future ...
Anyway they are very quiet and don't shake or wobble as they spin.
I'm pretty doggone happy with these developments EXCEPT the LED packages in the Harbor Breeze models were a bit much and appear to be quite the replacement issue if they fail down the road. Sometimes a a good ole bulb socket is superior to an engineered packet of electronics.
