National Rebuilding Day is is observed on the last Saturday of April which will make it April 25, 2026 this year.
It is used to promote the repair of homes, revitalization of communities, and attempts to ensure residents can live safely and independently, often addressing issues like plumbing, electrical, and structural repairs.
It is considered the flagship event of National Rebuilding Month.
Thousands of volunteers nationwide come together to provide free, critical health and safety home repairs for low-income families, veterans, and older adults. You can participate by volunteering for local Rebuilding Together affiliates to assist with repairs, painting, and yard cleanup. There are cost effective and free services available toward this end.
