My days of being the proverbial anal retentive punctuator having left me years before commencing the blog.
Today is National Punctuation Day.
It is observed under the auspices of one Jeff Rubin each year on September 24 since 2004 in the name of correct usage of commas, periods, and other vital marks in written communication.
I really and truly don't care what you think about my punctuation at this juncture. It is just advisable not to go overboard lest I beat you like I own you. Actually I'd sooner just skip it all if you don't mind ...
I did my time in the collegiate writing courses of my youth.
