Paranormal refers to events or phenomena such as spirit entities, telekinesis, clairvoyance and so forth that are beyond the scope of normal scientific understanding.
Once I neither believed nor had any interest in ghosts.
I was the skeptic's skeptic bordering on ridicule in my disapproval of those who discussed such matters.
Then I caught hold of the various television programs concerning the paranormal and changed my tune 180 degrees.
Though I don't seek answers from the great beyond I'm certainly no longer against hearing them out if they want to make themselves known.
Some of these notions are pretty scary in and of themselves.
Today is National Paranormal Day.
The day concerns itself with experiential inventory outside the norms of people, places, and things. It is about knowing the unknowable. It concerns seeing the unseeable.
It's focus are those movies, documentaries, and science fiction elements which present these extrasensory things to the public at large.
So the warlocks, and witches, vampires, ghosts, bigfoot, UFOs, and all entities from "the other side" in general provide the impetus for this day each May 3rd.
So don't let the lying ass government sully the day for you. Talk about ruination of reputation. The stupid military handled that quite nicely for the government in general. If you wish to believe then by all means do so. If you wish to defer judgement for additional evidence that too is acceptable.
Just remember, there is a lot more out there than you have likely been lead to believe.
