Some of us are no longer the spring chickens we once were.
I recall my good friend from long ago at the Richland ER, Mr Lindy Funkhouser telling me how I was no longer a spring chicken back in a day when I really thought I was still young. Silly me !
Today is National Old Stuff Day.
It is celebrated each March 2nd and encourages us to break free from daily routines, declutter their homes, and find new uses for old items.
It is a day to, for example, clean out garages, rediscover, donate, or repurpose old belongings, or even change a long-held habit.
So get out there and attempt to declutter. I would emphasize this more but I personally have been having issues with this myself.
Try to break the routine and engage new things to enhance your existence.
Look back and enjoy those memories accumulated over a lifetime of occupying space and having weight.
Becoming "old stuff" is quite further along than the alternative.
