It was at this point that I began cultivating what would become a life long attraction to iced tea both with my meals and as a refreshing drinking between meals.
I have been known to keep pitchers of iced tea ready to go in my fridge for those moments when I need a refreshing pick me up to shake off the various frustrations accumulated during the day.
National Iced Tea Day is one of those "unofficial" holidays celebrated annually on June 10th in honor of one of the world's most refreshing beverages to ever make it's way to a dinner table.
It first became popular at the 1904 St Louis World's Fair which is in June — the time of National Iced Tea Month.
I hope you can enjoy a swig every now and then like I do.
I like it sweet, unsweet, and brewed with various flavorings like fruit and mint.
