I have been to the Louvre in Paris. I have also been to the Prado in Madrid. I spent a couple of days at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. It's a sad notion that I will never return to New York for their criminal lawfare activities.
I've been to the Smithsonian in Washington DC. I have visited the National Gallery in London. I spent hours in the Sistine Chapel of the Vatican and visited the Vatican Museums twice in my life.
I was once the consumate museum attendee but I fear those days are lost to me forever. While on these excursion I spent hours and sometimes day perusing the fine art.
My attraction to oils, sculpture, and other media has always been a compelling factor in my motivations.
Today is National Fine Art Appreciation Day. It is observed each October 25 since 2018 under the auspices of RoGallery of New York City — and is a day for the appreciation of fine works of art. Too bad New York is politically lacking in any semblence of juris prudence or even fair play.
I recall enrolling in Art Appreciation in the ninth grade at Goose Creek High School and thinking all I had to do is look at things and say "yeah, I appreciate that". Wasn't quite so cut and dry I'm afraid. Music Appreciation was no better.
I hope that you will take this day to expand your cultural horizons if only a smidge.
Happy National Fine Art Appreciation Day rude criminal New York yankee bitches.
