I am known to be kind when I'm able. Sometimes people tick me off like when they think they know enough to take down my web resources as if I'm as stupid as they are. All-in-all I try to get along and share what I can with my fellow person and not hurt or damage the property of others.

I wish everyone attempted such consideration.

Today is National Do Something Nice Day.

It is observed each October 5.

It is an "unofficial holiday" meant to spread positivity, practice empathy, and brighten someone else's day through small, intentional acts of kindness.

Doing something nice for someone can be as simple as sending a quick text of appreciation or letting a car merge into your lane.

You might send a text to message an old friend out of the blue just to say hello.

You might compliment a coworker or stranger and tell them you like their style.

You might leave a good online review to assist a small local business in ecommerce.

You might exhibit patience by allowing someone to go ahead of you in a line or traffic.

It never hurts to extend a bubble of kindness around your fellow person in the name of empathetic humanity.
