It seems when I was young I prayed a whole lot more frequently than I have later in life.
Faith has been a big part of who I am because of the influence of my parents. Mom was always one to have me in Church on Sundays as a child. Throughout the nation there are diverse ethnicities and their variety of belief systems.
This has given rise to a day which is all about these religions of the world.
Today is National Day of Prayer.
Our National Day of Prayer was founded by Harry S Truman and the US Congress. Of late we have a secular component of the population who would sully the notion of the One True God and prayer in general. There are religions which the adherents of which will kill you if you do not become one of their members with proof to their satisfaction.
I have always said "bring it on". Just don't let your alligator mouths outdo your hummingbird behinds. Being a Christian does not make you a second hand citizen and I am practiced at accurate head shots for a very long time now.
The heathen brigand pervert Barack Obama said that the United States was no longer a "christian" nation. Luckily he is as stupid as he is ugly. We remain Christian despite his and other democrat party efforts to the contrary.
He and his nasty tranny first ladyboy Big Mike will never prevail in this country. He should go back to his country which is Kenya and try all over again. They would likely kill him for his crass sexual perversion and misrepresentation of his existence.
So whatever is your belief today you may pray. The Obamas, the Bidens, Bill Gates, Jimmy Kimmel the rest of the democrats and their ilk who would prevent you from doing so are headed toward failure.
