Today is National Cheese Doodle Day observed each March 5th.
It is an unofficial holiday meant to be "fun".
The snack originates around the mid 20th century, with popular belief attributing its creation to one Morrie Yohai at Old London Foods in the 1940s.
However similar items were available in the 1930s.
It is a food holiday said to be dedicated to enjoying cheese coated corn snacks such as puffs and balls and as such you are subject to orange fingers and a variety of other messy situations if you go there.
Cheetos are a big favorite of my mothers.
She consumes them while watching television.
I make it a point to get her a couple of bags when I get groceries for her weekly.
Conventional wisdom has it that the difference between Cheetos and cheese doodles is said to be balance of the flavor and the crunch.
I have always thought google is populated with the utterly stupid anyway.
