Let it be said that I will go for the carbonated beverage above all others for the bubbles, the cold wet fruity flavor, and the memories.
Nehi was one of the things from home I typically was able to procure internationally. The label design has evolved but the look and taste remain. I personally prefer the glass bottle over the plastic bottle or metal can.
Onward through the heat, the dust, and the strangeness of foreign ports I had this touchstone of refreshing comfort everywhere I went.
Today is National Beverage day.
It falls on May 6 and encourages us to sit back, relax, and enjoy our favorite beverages.
A day dedicated to appreciating any and all beverages.
