Microsoft Pushing 10 with Wild Abandon

Yes, Redmond is once again showing you just how much you don't matter with their change up to the windoze 10 upgrade dialog.

As reported in a number of the threads circulating the tech sector, now the upgrade dialog simply asks you to confirm WHEN you want to upgrade instead of confirming THAT you want the upgrade.

They have trapped a number of individuals who wanted to keep their windows 7 and windows 8 installs intact; upgrading them without their consent with impunity. Why ? Because they're MICROSOFT and can get away with anything.

The little nasty buggers have harvested a lot of additional 7 and 8 users who wanted by and large to stay put and NOT take the plunge as I was forced to do what seems eons ago ... but was only yesterday.

Luckily, though I "wanted" to remain on 8.1 I decided to go ahead after my beloved step father jumped into the deep end of of the Windoze 10 pool and I discovered this on my weekly visit to his house.

I decided that if I'm going to effectively troubleshoot his issues I would need a copy upon which to experiment.

And now he has gone and left us with both copies of windows 10.

I certainly don't begrudge him any of this and would do anything to have him back tinkering with it like we were before that fateful Saturday morning in January which marked the beginning of the end.

I both loved and respected my step father who wanted to run windoze 10. Microsoft doesn't doesn't love or respect you at all.

You are the customer of Microsoft. What you want is nothing to them. You mean nothing to them. Think about it. In the realm of companies who view you as some divine right possession existing only to add to their coffers you have to continually ask yourself "what's the catch?" ... because it's YOU.
